Stylishly renovated, this quiet cottage is located 1.5 miles from the entry to Warren Dunes State Park and minutes to restaurants and shops. Sunflower Cottage offers a place to unwind while having modern amenities like a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed WiFi, Smart TV, keyless entry, free laundry, outdoor shower and modern furnishings. Sunflower Cottage occupancy is limited to 4 including infants. To accommodate our cleaning crew's busy schedule, check-in and check-out times are firm. The cottage is just under 800sf and is on 1/2 acre, surrounded by trees and a wildflower garden. The rooms are sunny, clean, modern and comfortable. Expect lots of places to lounge, read or daydream. Sunflower Cottage boasts refinished 1950 oak floors throughout and a large screen porch for eating and relaxing. Expect a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. At night, enjoy the fire pit or lounging on the porch illuminated by string lights. We've even set up a well-lit space for you to be able to join a virtual meeting or get some work done before heading to the beach. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with two twin beds. A pack and play, toddler bed guardrail and high chair are available for junior guests upon request in advance. Guests have exclusive access to the whole house and yard. The garage and shed are not available to guests. If anything breaks, needs our attention or you need assistance, please message us right away through the Airbnb app. Nestled among rows of Spruce trees and other cottages along a gravel road, Sunflower Cottage is 1.5 miles from the entry to Warren Dunes State Park, minutes from restaurants, breweries, antique shops, coffee roasters, farm stands and grocery stores. The house is located on a gravel road with a dead end so there's very little traffic. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and conducive to relaxing. The Historian and Local Pour are a short walk away. You'll also see a wide variety of birds including Kinglets, orioles, cardinals, nuthatches, cardinals, finches, hawks and hummingbirds in the summer. Our pollinator gardens also attract Monarch butterflies daily in the summer. Sunflower Cottage is within walking distance of The Historian, Local Pour, and 2 antique shops. Other restaurants, breweries, shops and Warren Dunes are less than 2 miles away. There's free parking for 2 cars in a private driveway at Sunflower Cottage. As much as we love animals, we are unable to host pets regardless of training or breed. Our occupancy limit of 4 INCLUDES infants. We have books and toys for every age as well as a high chair and pack and play available on request. In season, we offer beach towels, 2 beach chairs and a small beach shelter. There's even a yoga mat if you need to stretch after an afternoon of biking or hiking. We enforce local ordinances that require quiet hours between 11pm-7am and ask that all guests be courteous of our wonderful neighbors. In the summer months during daylight hours, our neighbor mows the grass with our mower. He enters through the backyard and will enter the garage, which is not attached to the house. Guests don't need to do anything. Feel free to contact us if you'd prefer that he not mow during your stay.
