B&B Artemisia

The Artemisia B&B is located in a safe and quiet residential area of Alghero, fifteen minutes from the historic center and 800 m from the Dante promenade. The beaches can be reached in twenty minutes by bus with a stop in front of and opposite the B&B. Free parking in front of the property, with a guarded place for bicycles and motorcycles by reservation. Main services on the street and in the neighborhood include a pharmacy, supermarket, tobacco shop, pizzerias, restaurants, and pubs. The space The Artemisia B&B offers three spacious, bright and independent rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom with shower, toilet with a hygienic guarantee seal, complimentary toiletries, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, anti-theft device, mosquito nets, air conditioning, heating, hairdryer, bed with slats and orthopedic mattress, bed linen and towels. Upon arrival, you will find a bottle of water in the kitchen fridge. The Verbena, Elicriso and Artemisia rooms are cared for down to the smallest detail, furnished with wooden elements, natural fabrics, handmade objects and decorations from Sardinia and different parts of the world. Breakfast is served in a bright and cozy kitchen, equipped with tables, chairs, refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine, always available to guests. Outside, the garden offers deckchairs, sun umbrellas and a relaxation area dedicated to the aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean maquis, which give the rooms their name. A covered patio is ideal for reading, conversing, sipping an aperitif, or enjoying breakfast outdoors. At the entrance, a cozy space furnished with a sofa and armchairs welcomes you, enriched by two tapestries, one Sardinian and one Argentinian, and an inlaid leather suitcase from Paraguay transformed into a map holder and information about local restaurants, events and itineraries. The hallway that leads to the rooms is embellished with a tapestry in pannu de Ispica, a traditional Sardinian fabric once used to store carasau bread, also known as "music paper" for its light and crumbly consistency. Every detail of the room is designed to ensure an atmosphere of harmony and well-being, inspired by artemisia, a Mediterranean plant with finely jagged leaves and a silvery green color known for its medicinal and aromatic properties. Guest access The B&B is located on the ground floor, offering easy access to guests. There are only two steps to go from the living area to the sleeping area, ensuring a simple transition between the spaces. Guests will have access to the common areas, which include the living room at the entrance, the kitchen, the garden, and patio. The three rooms are independent, ensuring privacy and tranquility for each guest. During your stay I am always at your disposal and can be reached by phone 24 hours a day, ready to offer support when necessary, respecting your privacy and your peace of mind. Other things to note A tourist tax must be paid at check-in for each night spent in the property: €0.50 in low season and €1.00 in high season per person. The following are exempt from payment of the accommodation tax: - Minors under the age of 12; - Those who stay overnight to ensure assistance to people hospitalized in the city; - Staff belonging to the State Police and Local Police, the Armed Forces, as well as the National Fire Brigade who stay for service needs; - Persons with severe disabilities, whose condition of disability is certified pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 3, of Law no. 104 of 5 February 1992 or similar provisions of the countries of origin for foreign citizens, and their companion.
