GITE IN BARFLEUR

Welcome to our renovated gîte (2018) in Barfleur, a charming little fishing port, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. Close to shops, the port and the beach, the gîte is functional to allow you to enjoy the sea in all its forms, swimming, fishing, sailing, hiking... and also the countryside! See you soon! The space Welcome to Barfleur and this gîte! To make your stay go smoothly to discover this little haven of peace, here are some indications: The address is 3 rue du Vast, le Pavé, in Barfleur, the house without the shutters. Check-in is at ? p.m. and checkout is at 12 p.m. We will be there to give the keys. For checkout, after tidying up and cleaning, you will see the person who welcomes you for the checkout arrangements. We thank you for carrying out the inventory as soon as you arrive and for informing us if there are any missing items by email at the latest within 24 hours of your arrival. Please also give us feedback on the cleanliness of the cottage upon arrival. In a pouch you will find all the instructions for use of the different appliances in the gîte, as well as tourist brochures. Regarding parking, the Town Hall requests that guests park in the designated spaces, you will find free spaces nearby on the main street. The cottage is non-smoking for everyone's comfort. An ashtray is available for smoking outside: please empty the ashtray, do not throw and leave cigarette butts outside. Our animal friends are allowed with our agreement. Please don't light any candles. Thank you for taking care of all the equipment. Please do not use scouring sponges on stainless steel, the countertop and hotplates. The heating is set to 17, 18°, you can increase it if necessary within reasonable limits. We invite you, as everywhere, to pay attention to the use of stairs, especially for children. Coffee machine: Senseo There are laundromats nearby in Quettehou and Saint-Vaast. Regarding noise, we ask that you respect the neighborhood. There is no collection of household waste, you must go to the containers (household waste and selective sorting) near the Blanche Nef campsite. The Tourist Office is located on the main street near the Port (you will find the tide schedules and recommendations for fishing). You will find small shops on the main street, the post office is close to the main street. Bank withdrawals are possible at Crédit Agricole de Barfleur. Market days are Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings in Barfleur, Tuesday mornings in Quettehou and Saturday mornings in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. Regarding supermarkets, there is a Carrefour Contact in Barfleur (with fuel), a U Store in Saint-Vaast-la Hougue and an Intermarché in Quettehou. Upon departure, we thank you for: clean the entire gite, empty the garbage, leave the dishes clean and tidy, empty the fridge and leave it clean and on, turn off the heating in summer or put it in antifreeze in winter, to remember to close the windows and skylights when you leave and during the day in case of rain, to put the instruction sheets and the inventory on the living room table when leaving, turn off the TV, turn off all the lights, to check if the hotplates and oven are switched off. Regarding COVID, if you want to bring your duvets and pillows in addition to your bedding or towels, we fully understand.
