Description

A self - contained homely annexe with parking. The annexe is furnished to a high standard. This is an ideal and cosy retreat for those wishing to explore East Devon - an area of outstanding natural beauty and the Jurassic coast. The space A spacious studio set in a lovely, peaceful wooded garden on the outskirts of Budleigh Salterton. Attached to the owners' gated home, Oak Glade Studio has its own entrance and is furnished with a stylish, brand new, fully equipped kitchen area (oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge), a double bed, sofa, TV, dining table and chairs and a large shower room. A set of french doors overlook the stunning garden and the woods beyond. Guests have shared access to the garden. The back garden has a bistro table and chairs for your enjoyment and is available for your dog to use if required. There is also some outdoor seating at the front of the studio. Bed linen, towels and T-towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. A welcome starter pack is provided, which includes milk, coffee, tea, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. There is wifi available. Please note due to our rurual location it can be variable. Your hosts are happy to share information about the local area and offer tips for your holiday in Devon. Guest access There is ample parking for one car. The South West Coastal path is a short walk away and the Exmouth to Budleigh Salterton railway cycle path is just at the top of the road. It's only a 30 minute stroll or a 10-minute cycle ride or 5 minute drive into the attractive small town of Budleigh Salterton. There you will find the town's iconic pebble beach, a museum, independent clothes, gift and food shops, two small supermarkets and a number of restaurants and cafés. A highly rated golf course is adjacent to the house, the sandy beach at Exmouth is a short drive away and there are several National Trust properties within an hour's drive. For nature lovers, the Otter Estuary is a haven for birdlife and beavers can be seen on the river at dusk. Other things to note Guests with electric / hybrid cars should note that charging is not avialable on site. There is a charging facility at Tesco superstore which is close by.
