Penthouse on beach with view of Ocean and Skyline

The penthouse is the owner's private apartment on the topfloor of the Gallery Hotel, with stunning views of Maputo's skyline and Indian Ocean. Catembe has still a feeling of an African village and therefore one of the safest neighborhoods of the capital, perfect for a holiday away and some relaxation, in a more stress-free environment. We gladly offer you a caipirinha, on the house, to enjoy at the bar. The health spa at the hotel is worth a try or get some martial art or sea-kayak sessions. The space This penthouse is a triple split level apartment which can comfortably accommodate 6 people. The apartment is serviced daily by the hotel staff. It has three bedrooms (one King and two with twin beds) all of which have an air conditioner, it has two bathrooms, a basic equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge and a stunning balcony overlooking the bay. There is a TV with some satellite channels, and guests have access to the hotel's free wireless internet. There is street parking in front of the hotel, where the guests can leave their car, under the watchful eye of the guards. Guest access Guests have access to the hotel's pool and restaurants (including a soon to be opened Tapas and cocktail bar in the sea). Guests are welcome to swim at the beach (the water is slightly sandy brown sometimes, but clean, as its colour is caused the shallowness and by the sand that is tumbled. You can make use of the hotel's kayaks. If you prefer to swim in the hotel's pool can also do so. You will have access to the hotel's gardens, where you will find a chef's herb garden and labyrinth (which resembles the famous layout of Chartres). Near the pool bar there is a petanque court. Relaxing massages are also available on request. Other things to note As the penthouse is on top of the hotel, the guests can make use of the hotel's facilities. There is no additional charge for wireless internet (free WIFI), use of the pool and kayaks for in the sea. The hotel's restaurants and bars are reasonably priced and are open till late. The restaurants have menus both in English and Portuguese.
