Our vintage & rustic Javanese wooden house, called Joglo. We bought it from a village in central Java, dismantled & rebuilt it in Bogor. We combine the old javanese house with modern touch, where you can enjoy a Javanese village ambiance with the modern comfort, in the city center & near the Botanical Garden & President Palace. You may rent it for small gathering with additional fee (max 25 People), ie: reunion, arisan, meeting, photo spot, shooting. Please contact us for details, T&C applies The space We love vintage, we bought the house materials and furniture from all over Java. They are folkart, rustic, vintage and unique.....the real Javanese heritage. We want to bring back the past, the memory when we spent school holidays in our grandparents house in small village in central Java. Total land is approx 320sqm, main bedroom with aircon and private shower (20sqm), second room with aircon and private shower (15sqm) and third room (13sqm) with aircon & shower. The main part is the Joglo/hall/common area (72sqm). The characteristic of traditional Javanese wooden house is low door (approx 1.8m height) so we have to bow a bit. In the past this's meant to show respect to the house owner or relatives. Please mind your head at all time when you stay here :) We have online vintage shop @penggemarlawas and this house is also our home gallery, where you can buy all the vintage stuffs. Hence we periodically replace the furnitures/decoration . The furniture/decoration may not exactly the same as in the listing. If you have specific requirement, please do inform us before making the reservation. Guest access You can access all part of the house: - An 80sqm piaza or hall, we called pendopo and it's the main part of joglo house. This's a common area and dining room, where we gather with our families and guests. - terrace (at the back) and little garden (front, side and back) - little kitchen - parking lot for 2 cars - there're 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms in this house -internet quota: max 3Gb for 2 night stays Other things to note Please contact us if you can use the house for small gathering, but not a party, no soundsystem, no electronic instrument. This is a residential area that you need to respect. We can provide the following: - Traditional Outfit (kebaya lurik and surjan) - Tea and coffee for 25pax (no breakfast) - We can help you with catering service if needed - Sleep for maximum 6 people (pls put right number of guest when making reservation) LAUNDRY & PRESSING: My sister has kilo laundry service, it is around 10k IDR/kg for standard laundry+pressing (3 days). Quick service available with extra fee AIRPORT PICK UP SERVICE Our friend has a grab taxi and he can pick you at the airport exit gate (holding your name). The car is Nisan Livina, and the fee is Rp 850k IDR or €50, it's around 2hrs drive depending on traffic (85km). You can pay via airbnb (we'll send payment request) or to our NL bank account (ING). Please book in advance if you need this service. We don't provide breakfast, but coffee & tea always available. Feel free to enjoy anything on table/refrigeratork
