Timeless Colonial Grandeur with 5★WiFi

Artisanale Loutolim is our own private home housing our personal collections from around India and the globe. Loutolim is best known as the home of one of Goa's most prominent international icons Mario Miranda. The house has 3 ACed bedrooms ensuite bathrooms, a living room with French doors, an airy cross ventilated dinning area and an inner courtyard with a well in the centre and a gazebo. We have a cook on call and cleaning staff. A dedicated optic fibre internet line and a power backup. The space Artisanale Loutolim is a stately old Portuguese mansion which will awe any guest. The majestic chandeliers, age old furniture, historic altar and antique art and frescoes adorning the walls make your stay more regal and draw you back into the days of yore. The house is fully furnished and ready to move in. It has three bedrooms with attached bath/toilets and hot water. The kitchen is fully functional and has a microwave, 4 burner gas range, oven, mixer-grinder, refrigerator, regular cooking utensils, and adequate crockery and cutlery and tableware for 6. We will provide the adequate linen for your stay, unless you are staying for periods beyond 1 month, then we suggest that you carry along your own. The house has a private, GWAVE internet provider service which runs pretty smoothly on most days. Gwave currently is on a 100 MPBS plan with unlimited download, but the plan can be increased over a call with the internet people. We have a 1KVA power backup in the house, which powers on the internet 24x7. The charges for the internet are inclusive of the rentals. The outdoor area is beautiful and excellent for long quiet evenings. We do have inner courtyard with a well in the centre, which is great to keep your canine safe and yet outdoors. He will enjoy lounging in the shaded gazebo. Barbecues are fun here too or on the front balcony. I do not currently have a barbecue set, but do let me know ahead, and I can arrange for one. Everyday vegetable./ fruit stocking can be done from the Church square which is about 1 km from the house. Otherwise the bigger supermarkets is about a 15 minute drive from the house. The house is a 30 minute drive from the beaches of Majorda and Utorda, famous for the local restaurants of Martins corner and Zeebop Beach shack. Other things to note Dear Guest, Please let us know the following 1. If you require a local sim card on your arrival, we can arrange for a pre-paid one, esp for those staying long term. 2. Let us know if you are allergic or just generally not fond of any particular condiments/ food types/ tastes etc... This is especially for those that would be staying long term with us and have requested for home cooked meals. 3. We would recommend that you have your own mode of transport to get around Goa. As public transport is very very limited, besides hiring cabs is expensive. Let us know, if we should hire you a self drive car, scooter, ahead of arrival time, to get good rates. We just facilitate the service, and put you in touch with the vehicle owner directly. All motorized vehicles need a drivers license. Please ensure you carry your international license with you. 4. If you are flying into Goa, we would prefer sending you a cab to pick you from the airport, as the prepaid cab counter queues are quite long at times. Do send us your flight details. 5. We encourage and prefer long staying guests. Our homes are fully furnished and very well suited for the long term guest. We provide discounts ranging from 40% - 60% lower than our per day price for such guests. 6. If you would like to couple your stay and move around our Artisanale Homes, during your stay, let us know ahead and we will check feasibility. It is quite common for our guests to stay for 1 month in each home experiencing different lifestyles and surroundings. 7. We encourage pets in our homes, but if we find a lot of shedding in the house or general misbehaviour of your pet, we would charge you extra for the maintenance. This is non negotiable.
