Struan Lodge was built in 2012 and is situated on the outskirts of the popular Highland village of Beauly in an area called Barnyards. It offers comfortable self catering accommodation for four in a peaceful country location within 10 minutes walk of the village square with its shops, cafe's and hotels. We welcome well behaved dogs for a small fee of £25. Beauly is a perfect location to visit the Highlands from or to do the North Coast 500. The space The Lodge has comfortable leather couches to sit on whilst enjoying the peaceful view of the landscape through the large windows, or sit in the covered veranda and enjoy a glass of wine. There is a log burner for the cooler nights should the need arise. The Lodge has beautiful larch flooring throughout and has vaulted ceilings in the lounge and main bedroom giving a real feeling of space. There is a king sized bed in the master bedroom which has patio doors out to the veranda. The shower room has two doors one going to the master bedroom and a second into the hallway. The village of Beauly has everything you could possibly want within a ten minute walk. The local hotels are dog friendly and there are many local walks nearby for our four legged guests. For guests with Electric Vehicles the nearest charging point is at Braeview Park in the village. Guest access There is a large grassed garden which is enclosed by a wire & wooden fence and metal gate so great for letting the dog out or to allow the children to play safely. Other things to note A great location for anyone wishing to play golf. Our local course, Muir of Ord GC is only 2 miles away, many others within a 40 minute drive including Royal Dornoch, Castle Stewart, Nairn, Inverness and Fortrose & Rosemarkie to name but a few.
