Tucked away in our lush Cornish woodland near the sea, our space is only available whist we holiday. Step into a luxury retreat, on arrival find a luxury hamper to settle you in, spacious bedrooms with generous beds, relax in the hydrotherapy spa. A family dwelling, life revolves around the kitchen. Here every room opens to a great expanse of ancient deciduous woodland, let nature in. The space Our home is a low impact property, built from the materials that surround us, using resources from our local area, heated using ground source. The Old Game Keepers Lodge has won sustainability awards for best contribution to the built environment and has been featured in journals from Elle Decoration to Country Living. But at the heart of this home things are much more simple, it's about connections, family and friends. Designed for the time we spend together, this house is a retreat, a little slice of woodland paradise. We'd love to share the experience with you, as we look to travel away more we're now opening up our own home for other people to enjoy. Close your eyes and think luxury cabin and you're almost here! Suitable for a large family, groups of friends or even for two families to share, the house is generous inside and out. Child friendly, with toys, games, highchair, cot, stairgates on request. Fully equip kitchen, wood burner and outdoor seating/dining spaces. Lots of Beach equipment onsite for you to use. Change over day is on Fridays, short stays available off peak. The house shares six acres of woodland with our cabin, where we design and make steambent furniture and lighting. For a little look at what we do search "Tom Raffield", you'll find our work is much like our home. Most of our creations from prototypes to the finished articles can be seen inside the house! The house has it's own private gardens, but the lane to the side is the access for the old woodman cabins. The woodland is enjoyed by all especially on sunny days, you're welcome to spend your time relaxing, climbing trees or even wildlife watching.
