The upstairs bedroom is a quiet, light room looking onto trees and sky. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, draws, desk, chair, desk lamp, hair dryer, (a fan and heater is available). The room is freshly painted white with polished floorboards with hanging space. Sheets, doona and pillows are provided. Your host is friendly and knows the local area and Sydney well. The neighbourhood is friendly and close to beautiful parks, great cafes and lively King Street with shops, music venues and cinemas. There is a 20 minute walk to the University of Sydney; a 5 minute walk to the Technology Park; 10 minutes by train to UTS; a 20 minute train/bus trip to Bondi Beach; and 12 minutes by train to the Sydney CBD. The house is in a unique environment for Sydney, stylish, neighbourly, quiet and green. People are friendly and there is a strong sense of community in the area. Nearby is a sculpture school; a theatre for performing arts, 2 local farmers markets and parks for recreation and relaxation. Close by is Erskineville Village with vibrant café life, wine bars, small food shops and the railway station which gives regular access to the city, the Opera House, Sydney Harbour and National Parks. Guest access The guests will have access to all the house except for my bedroom, which is upstairs also. During your stay I am happy to socialise when we are in the shared living space together and help to familiarise my guest with the local area and Sydney.
