Cozy organic and artisanal rustic wooden cabin, in the mountains of Arbolí, Siurana, Montsant, Priorat. Located in a valley next to the river ideal for nature lovers, climbing, hiking, biking, kayaking, viticulture, etc. Perfect for enjoying a few quiet days in a simple way and taking fresh water baths in summer. Great location for climbing in Arbolí and walking distance to Siurana. Come live a self-sustainable , simple, natural life experience! The space Organic wood house, has: Fully equipped kitchen, compostable dry bathroom, hot shower, loft with double bed, sofa bed, porch with dining table. In the winter there is a wood stove to warm up. We practice Permaculture , a way to live in favor of the natural ecosystem, if you are interested we will be here to inform you. We have an organic garden, in summer we can supply fresh vegetables from our garden ..(see) Guest access Wrapped of oaks, oaks and hazelnuts, picnic area with hammocks and if you have children you can enjoy a small treehouse, a large porch to enjoy incredible views and a detachable pool (to take a small dip)in summer. Just in front of the estate passes the GR7 , a hiking trail with a great tour, where you can enjoy a walk next to the river, which will take you to the village of Arbolí , where you will find a small organic and local shop, a restaurant, a bar and a bakery with a wood-burning oven, if you feel like making a stop to rest, taste and/or continue to another abandoned village, Gallicant, with spectacular views of Siurana, all this and more without taking the car! Other things to note The cabin is handcrafted by us. We offer a simple stay but with all amenities. But before deciding to come, there are a few points to keep in mind... - We use solar energy, especially on cloudy days and winter we recommend energy saving... any problem we have an emergency generator.... - 2.5 km of semi-paved forest road to the cabin.. 'please don't come with the Ferrari' - In summer come prepared to avoid mosquitoes in the afternoons outside... the cabin has mosquito nets on the windows and doors and small outlets. - Same as having 300 days of sunshine a year, in winter it can be quite cold and windy... being able to snow a few days(little) ( we leave firewood prepared for guests but it is important to have availability and/or some experience with wood-burning stoves. - We have an indoor composting dry bathroom of the cottage. We will explain how it works for you at your arrival, but if you prefer, there is a lot of information on the internet to get familiar with the subject. - We use organic and biodegradable hygiene products. - It is not a bungalow , a resort or a campsite... it is a rustic and simple cabin, made by us, where we offer you the opportunity to live a few days, an experience , get a little closer to a more self-sustaining, simple and natural life decision. “A lot of little people in small places, making small things can change the world.” (Eduardo Galeano)
