Kampala lakeview large double room

Large private top floor room - light and airy - with amazing views of the lake and forest owned by the property which has resident Redtail Monkeys and numerous birds and in which you are free to wander. Located on the edge of Kampala near to the lake this is a perfect spot to relax, wander in the surrounding villages and explore Kampala and beyond. Just off the new expressway - 5 minutes to Speke Munyonyo Resort and 10 minutes to Serena Lakeside Hotel. Easy access to Entebbe and the airport. The space The view and forest are what makes this room so special. Now, with the new expressway, the house is easy to access and yet is still in a village location. Walk up the nearby hill for panoramic views or down to the lake at Busabaala - to the fish landing site, the Victoria Nyanzi Sailing Club or the famous "One Love Beach" Guest access The room is located in a family home with a shared living room and kitchen area on the ground floor. The room is on the top floor of the house and on the same level is a private bathroom. There is also a large veranda on to which the room opens and up one more level is a roof top patio where the Redtails can be viewed eye to eye. Guests are free to enjoy the gardens, the forest and a car (with driver) is also available for use - at extra cost and with prior arrangement. During your stay House staff are always available within the compound and I will be available when not at work or away for any other reason. I am happy to give advice on places to visit in the vicinity of the house and good options for traveling elsewhere in Uganda. Other things to note The house can be seen from the expressway (Kigo Road) and the Busabaala Road, but the first time to find the actual roads that leads to the house can be an adventure. The Busabaala Road taxis (minibuses) and bodaboda motorcycle taxi's are 5 minutes walk from the house. The top floor is up about 35 steps and there are 4 very energetic dogs to welcome you on arrival.
