Cosy countryside cottage

East Hedleyhope is a small hamlet set in the beautiful countryside of County Durham, bordering in the wonderful scenery of Weardale. We are 8 miles away from the centre of Durham city and 4 miles away from the Weardale valley, which stretchers through Wolsingham, Frosterley, Stanhope, St Johns chapel and upper Weardale. From there it's a choice of heading towards the west towards the lake district or Northumberland and the historical town of Hexham and Corbridge. The The space County Durham offers a great base to visit Beamish Museum, Durham castle and Cathedral, Midddleton Teeesdale, Barnard Castle, Newcastle and the Metro Centre shopping complex. Guest access Guests have the whole house to relax and enjoy the scenic views and explore the fells nearby. The cottage has a lovely rear garden and a front garden overlooking a play area for children. There are also lots of great dog walks from the cottage to do in a peaceful, friendly and country haven.
