Just minutes from Bude, its beaches, pubs, restaurants and the South West Coast Path, this rural cabin remains secluded in a quiet corner of the meadow, with beautiful garden views, amenities and footpaths close by. The space Rosie’s Retreat is fully heated throughout, ensuring this cosy cabin stays warm and welcoming all year round. On colder days — or simply for the pleasure of the glow — the log burner creates the perfect setting for a romantic countryside escape in Cornwall. A complimentary starter pack of logs, kindling and firelighters is provided, and the hut is pre-heated before your arrival so you step straight into warmth during the winter months. Surrounded by rolling green fields beyond its private garden, Rosie’s Retreat offers a truly rural, romantic and rustic atmosphere. Ponies and cattle occasionally graze in the neighbouring meadows, yet you’re just a five-minute drive from the seaside town of Bude, with the village store and welcoming pubs of Stratton only a 15-minute walk along the nearby bridleway. Beaches, restaurants, shops and the South West Coast Path are all within easy reach — while the peaceful setting makes you feel wonderfully secluded. Relax and unwind in the private garden hot tub, featuring 36 jets, atmospheric LED lighting, and a luxury lounge seat designed for full horizontal comfort. Heated and ready to use day or night, it’s the perfect place to soak under the stars. The outdoor day bed is another guest favourite — snuggle beneath a blanket and take in the uninterrupted rural views that make this retreat so special. Inside, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, oven with grill, under-counter fridge, pots, pans and cooking utensils, alongside USB charging points, central heating and the woodburner — ensuring your comfort is never compromised. Outside, the enclosed private garden includes a Weber BBQ, chiminea, hanging chair, rattan dining set with footstools, outdoor rugs and indoor/outdoor beanbags — ideal for stargazing as evening falls. Soft festoon lighting creates a romantic glow around the garden and hot tub, while robes are provided for added comfort. With parking directly adjacent to the hut, unloading luggage is effortless. Mains-fed water and modern amenities mean you can enjoy rustic charm without sacrificing convenience. The bathroom includes a powerful shower, toilet and basin, plus a heated towel rail for drying robes and towels after a hot tub soak. Complimentary toiletries — including shower gel, soap and moisturiser — are also provided. LED candles, lanterns and ambient lighting complete the magical evening atmosphere. In the kitchen you’ll find tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits waiting for you after your journey. Essentials such as washing-up liquid, sponge, tin foil, oven gloves and tea towels are supplied, along with plenty of crockery, cookware and thoughtful extras to make self-catering simple. And finally — the outdoor shower, for the adventurous! Perfect for rinsing sandy surfers, muddy boots, or even buckets and spades after a day exploring. A covered, lit entrance porch with bench and coat hooks provides a practical space for outdoor gear.
