A self-contained 1-bedroom flat with its own entrance in an Edwardian seaside villa. Close to the beach, overlooking the Marina, with a seafront stroll to the city centre. Completely refurbished in 2021 including a new kitchen and ensuite shower room, the apartment sports a fabulous sea view and a lovely vista over the nearby South Downs National Park. The flat will comfortably sleep 4 people in a double bed in the bedroom with ensuite, and on a comfy sofabed in the bright and spacious lounge. The space The beautiful wood-floored lounge is bright and spacious. It has a large L-shaped sofa which opens into a comfortable double bed. There is wifi, a Bose bluetooth speaker, and cable television including Sky Sports. The brand new kitchen includes induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, Nespresso machine, as well as a kettle, toaster, ironing board and all the pans and utensils you’ll need for a self-catering stay. The bedroom has a comfy king-sized bed with a lovely sea view. The shower room, accessed through the bedroom, is also brand new with an excellent shower. Guest access There is free parking on the street. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk away, and the city centre is a 40 minute stroll along the seafront. The funky shops, pubs and coffee shops of Kemptown village are 20 minutes away by foot. Bars, restaurants, shops, a cinema, bowling alley and David Lloyd gym are on the Marina - a 10 minute walk. Access to the South Downs National Park is literally over the road. Other things to note Guests should know that the flat is self-contained on the third floor of an Edwardian villa and that access is via an external metal staircase (see photos). It's perfectly safe, but could be a little off-putting for those particularly fearful of heights.
