Renovated St Marys Bay bungalow with original lead-light windows in bedroom. Quick walk to Ponsonby Rd with many cafes, restaurants and upmarket shopping. Comfy double bed, wardrobe, chair and desk and own bathroom. 10 mins walk to local beaches. The space Our bungalow is 90 years old but apart from the bedroom has been entirely rebuilt. It has a sunny private north facing garden with palms and fruit trees including an avocado tree. If they are in season we're happy to include one in your breakfast. Guest access Guests can access all the living areas in the top of the house and the garden. There is also a relaxing swing seat in the garden and table and chairs. During your stay We can advise on cafes and restaurant and other Auckland attractions as well as transport. Other things to note The best way to get to our place from the airport if you are a couple is an Uber or Discount taxi ($45 cash). If you are on your own the next cost/time efficient option is the Super Shuttle (shared ride) which is $38 for one person (see the Super Shuttle website). If you are on your own and on a budget, we suggest the SkyBus which is $16 which will get you to the Sky City terminal in the city which is 2K from our house. (See SkyBus website for more info). The Inner Link (green bus) (cash $3) has a stop outside Sky City on Victoria St. Get off at the Three Lamps bus stop. It's an easy 500m walk to our place. Ótherwise a rental car will take about 35-55 minutes.
