Le Nid is 1 of a set of 2 delightful 3 bedroomed rural gîtes in sunny southwest France. Nestled in a valley 5kms from L’Absie in the Deux-Sèvres. The shared pool is NOW HEATED. There is a wildlife pond and hectare of land where the only sounds you can hear are birdsong, frogs, the wind in the trees and possibly a tractor in the distance. You may even catch a glimpse of a red squirrel. Bounded by a stream surrounded by farmland and from the grounds, you can access walking and cycling routes. The space Le Nid has a large downstairs open plan lounge, dining & kitchen area there is also a shower & toilet downstairs. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin room & another bathroom. Outside there are 2 patio areas please note that these are across the courtyard & not attached to the house. A 10 x 5 x 1.2 M shared swimming pool, large grassy play area with swings for the children as well as table tennis & badminton or if you prefer a hammock to laze in. Gates lead to the stream & pond areas. Guest access You will have your own gite with a front door key & all amenities. Outside is shared with ourselves & other guests, this includes the pool, garden & pond.
