Lovely cottage in Islandsberg, Grundsund

This is a lovely cottage for nature and sea lovers! Privately located in a nature conservation area and very close to Grundsund, the old picturesque fishing community on the west coast of Sweden. During the holiday months, the community comes alive with restaurants and summer shops. And only a 1.5-hour drive north from Gothenburg. Our house is suitable for both families and couples as it is close to the grocery store. The cottage is a fully-equipped summerhouse that accommodates a maximum of eight people. The space The space Located on beautiful Islandsberg you will find this summer house with its guesthouse on a gravel road, it is private and quiet. After a morning swim in the ocean and a nice breakfast you may want to go for a walk in the woods behind the house which is located in a nature reserve where you can spot everything from squirrels to deer and moose. If you feel like shopping or a restaurant visit, you can cycle to Grundsund (there are four bikes available) - it is a quick 1.5 km ride into the village. Guest access Visiting our house, you will have the house to yourself. You will of course be able to contact us by phone or email if there are any queries. The house has undergone a complete renovation inside, painted in light colours and fitted with larger windows that "let the nature in". In the main house you have two bedrooms, bathroom with washing maschine, living room kitchen and dining room. The kitchen has an oven, stove, espresso machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The guest house has two rooms with two single beds in each room. Bed linen and towels will be in place. Other things to note Grundsund and Islandsberg are located in the coastal county of Bohuslän. In our opinion, one of the most beautiful places in Sweden. Here you´ll find a tiny, old fishing village full of the good things in life. We have an ICA grocery store where you will find everything you need and of course a great fishmonger. The harbor restaurant "Smultron & Tång" serves a lovely seafood menu and Pelles restaurant not only have great food and drinks, but also a sunset to die for. Or you might just fancy buying shrimps directly from the fishing boat and enjoy them sitting on the dock. If you are into fishing you are in luck, just stroll along the coastline and fish for sea trout, mackerel and cod. In Grundsund you can also rent kayaks or take a kayak course. We have a 9-hole golf course and in the neighboring village just 5 minutes away you will find an 18-hole golf course. In and around Grundsund there are miles and miles of lovely hiking and biking routes. This really is a place where you can get activate if you like. Or just get away from it all.
