Privacy ensured with access to entire ground level of this Queenslander inspired home. The space Guests will love the sprawling lagoon swimming pool, surrounded by limestone paving, tropical gardens with sun beds, undercover patio dining area and a second bathroom with seated shower and toilet. This quintessential Port Douglas home is just a 5 minute drive from downtown Macrossan Street Port Douglas and the Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina. If you decide not to hire a car, there's a well priced local shuttle bus service that will pickup and drop off at the door. Your completely private accommodation is the essence of modern day 'Queenslander' architecture bathed in a tropical resort feel ambience. White louvered windows invite constant filtered light and air flow throughout your studio, however there are ceiling fans and air-conditioning within. The outdoor undercover alfresco dining area accessed directly from the studio also has two additional ceiling fans. This area has a dedicated seperate kitchenette accommodating a full size large fridge /freezer, convection microwave, electric portable hotplate, tea/coffee making facilities toaster, mini Nespresso machine, air fryer and large electric wok all for your convenience with plenty of cupboard space for all grocery supplies. The facilities in the kitchenette are available 24/7. The swimming pool 6am to 11pm, or anytime in between if you feel like a quiet dip. Internal pool lighting and soft ambient garden lighting is on from 6pm through until to 5am. The undercover 'breezeway' overlooking the pool with a handcrafted artesian timber 'Boardwalk' designed table is another relaxing space to enjoy your morning coffee, cocktail hour and meals. Access to a front loading washing machine is located in the kitchenette and there you'll find complimentary wash powder with a folding drying rack stored in the walk in robe. Access to a clothes dryer is also available upon request. Complimentary amenities and welcome breakfast items are here for your first morning and are all included. Please advise prior to arrival your preferred milk and bread preferences. Just a short stroll around at the end of Andrews Close take the dedicated path through to the park and straight onto the world renown Four Mile Beach. St Crispins lakeside cafe is just a 10 minute walk away if you choose not to go into town. Close by also a 10 minute walk is the Four Mile Beach Shack restaurant and bar, Niramaya Resort restaurant, fish and chipery, bottle shop, coffee shop and Barrier Reef Tavern. PLEASE NOTE: I have two friendly Standard Poodles; Pearl and Jack however, your privacy is assured. It will be a rare moment that you will either hear or see them, we also have a seperate access to come and go. I may also be away during your stay and if so, Pearl and Jack will be with me. Other things to note Port Douglas Poolside Studio is located in one of the most sort after streets in Port Douglas just a short walk to the end of the cul-de-sac to a pathway taking you directly onto Four Mile Beach. A retreat style escape and a special holiday destination away from the maddening crowds during the tourist season, but the location is just a 5 minute drive into the main Macrossan Street shopping precinct and the Crystalbrook Marina. If you have experienced a personal loss of a loved one, a separation, or you just need time out, I know you will feel safe and relaxed here. My Standard Poodles are quiet and kept well behaved upstairs, but they're available as great non shedding therapy dogs if you need that unconditional love of interaction with a dog I also offer a complimentary 5-7 night stays to anyone that has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
