The cafes, restaurants and castle at Gorey are a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive and picturesque Rozel is just 10 minutes away by car. Free parking and private guest garden. The space Oak Cottage is situated in one of the loveliest corners of Jersey, surrounded by peaceful fields and just above the East Coast beaches. Ransom's Garden Centre, which features a renowned cafe, is a five minute walk away. The cottage has its own private entrance, and there is dedicated free parking on site. There is one bedroom with a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Two further bedrooms were added in 2021 - one has a superking size bed, the other has a bunk bed with a small double lower bunk and a single upper bunk. Two deluxe airbeds, a travel cot and high chair are also available. There is a large separate living room with sofa and two armchairs, a dining table, writing desk and TV with Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer and a DVD player with a large library of films. The living room enjoys beautiful views over the garden and fields beyond. The compact kitchen is at one end of the large living room. It features a Bosch induction hob, oven and dishwasher, and a large AEG fridge-freezer. Also included are a microwave, kettle and toaster. Cutlery, crockery and glasses are provided, as are tea and coffee. The bathroom features a bath and powerful separate shower. Free wifi is provided throughout the living space. Access to the main house washing machine is available by request. Outside a garden is available for your exclusive use, with a table and chairs provided - perfect for sundowners! The surrounding area is full of wildlife and you will certainly see buzzards/harriers circling over the adjacent woodland. You may also be lucky enough to spot one of Jersey's red squirrels! Guest access All areas of Oak Cottage are accessible to guests. Other things to note Oak Cottage is located on the first floor of a converted barn attached to the rear of the main farm house. Access is via a single flight of stairs to the front door.
