Vintage "Landhaus Rosa" near Weimar

Our German-American family would be so pleased to invite you into our home. Our charming, 200-year-old guest house is just a few minutes away from the historic town of Weimar. Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. We have lovingly renovated our little cottage, framed by roses and furnished with antiques, melding the old-world with a touch of the modern. We hope that each of our guests feels at home. The space You can't build an old house. Our very old home is like a person-with its wrinkles, bumps, oddities and unique character. The ceilings are quite low on the upper floor in the bedrooms, so beware. The beds were shipped from the States and are from my very own youth, having waited just as I have, to finally find their own place so far from home. The two full-sized beds measure 140cm x190cm, but have thick 30cm mattresses topped with memory foam. We have an extra topper for the 140x200 sleeper sofa in the larger bedroom. All the beds and linens are suitable for anyone with allergies. We have games and Netflix available should the weather keep you indoors. The roof terrace can be a place to have a cup of coffee outside while you watch the kids on our private playground with its trampoline, slide, swings and sandbox. Guest access Our two houses are separated only by a stone-flagged yard which flows then into our garden which has a playground, yet many opportunities for relaxation. Whether you unwind in the hammock, have a cup of tea in one of our seating areas or take advantage of our yoga mat in a quiet corner of our garden, I hope there is something for everyone. A BBQ grill is at your disposal if you feel like enjoying one of our famous Thuringian bratwursts! An herb garden is right in front of the house too for any dishes you might like to cook. Or feel free to ask for a bike! There are so many lovely bike paths right around our home.
