Warm & welcoming studio

Just ten minutes drive from Cardiff centre. Self-contained and tucked away, once inside the studio you would never know you're in the heart of Birchgrove, Cardiff, with a great range of facilities and buses just a minute’s walk away. The studio has a shower room and well-equipped kitchenette. With a double bed & sofa bed, the studio can sleep four people, plus a travel cot & high chair. Wifi, Netflix & Amazon TV are provided. The studio has a wood burner, central heating & shared patio. The space The studio is in a separate building in the courtyard garden of our own house.  It has independent access via the rear lane and you are welcome to share the courtyard. Guest access As we are located in an Edwardian terrace, the studio is reached via the rear access lane and garden gate. There is unrestricted on-street parking outside the front of the property and in the surrounding side streets.  Whilst there is no parking in the access lane, it can be used for loading and unloading a car. Other things to note A simple breakfast basket is provided, including tea and coffee, milk, bread, jam, marmalade, eggs and cereals.  I am happy to accommodate any food preferences, just let me know. The kitchen area is very well equipped and includes: microwave with convection oven and grill settings, two induction hobs + pans, fridge with small freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, cafetiere. All necessary cutlery and crockery is provided. In addition to WiFi, the studio has a network point, allowing guests to connect a laptop directly. For bookings of 1 or 2 guests, the master double bed is prepared as standard. If the use of the sofa bed or spare bedding is required, an additional £15 housekeeping supplement applies. This is requested via the Airbnb Resolution Centre after the booking has taken place. The property uses a smart thermostat to manage the central heating (set to a standard 19°C to 22°C). This ensures the studio remains cosy in cooler weather while helping us reduce our carbon footprint. Please note the studio does not have air conditioning, but a fan is provided for your comfort during the summer. For those who enjoy extra warmth during the winter months, a woodburning stove is available, though a supply of wood is not guaranteed.
