Well equipped and stylish, Caban y Cwm provides all you need for a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Caban y Cwm is completely self-contained with its own shower room and toilet. The kitchen is well-equipped, with combi microwave, toaster, kettle and all the usual utensils. The living space is complemented by a small wood burner with its own mini oven; perfect for those cosy evenings. A range of local attractions and amenities lie within easy reach for those who wish to venture away from the hut. The renowned ‘Glyndwr’s Way National Trust’ site is close at hand, as is the spectacular Clywedog Lake, where a range of water activities are available. The coast is about a 30 minute drive away and the quaint towns of Llanidloes and Machynlleth both about 15-20 minutes by car. Alternatively, just explore the hundreds of acres of the farm’s own land, including walks of varying degrees of difficulty and the joys of a hidden lake at the very top. The land is also a cyclist’s dream, with many tracks to explore. After a busy day, why not relax on the decking and patio area outside the hut and enjoy a leisurely drink or prepare a barbecue whilst listening to the steam and enjoying the wildlife. Alternatively, just unwind in the wood-fired hot tub, set feet away from the stream with just the trees and the mountain as your backdrop. Guest access Caban y Cwm is situated in a private and secluded setting on a working farm. There are hundreds of acres of farmland to explore, including spectacular mountain walks for the more adventurous. Other things to note In the winter months, the water supply to the hut may occasionally freeze. This is a rare occurrence. There is no WIFI at the property, due to its secluded location. However, if desperate, guests are welcome to use the farmhouse WIFI; you will be able to pick up signal from outside. The following are provided for guests: - Bedding and towels - The wood burner and the wood burning hot tub will be set up with logs ready for your arrival, with a few spare logs in addition, free of charge. Extra bags are available at £5 per bag. - Toilet paper and kitchen roll - Cutlery and crockery - Cooking utensils for microwave and wood burner top oven - Mini fridge (capable of holding a bottle of wine and a few small cans or bottles of milk) - BBQ - Fire pit
