"Papaya 1" House, La Palma

Cot and high chair upon request. Pets up to 15 kg (on request) The space The house "Papaya 1" belongs next to "Casa Papaya 2", and "Casa Maracuya" to our pampered "Finca Suculenta". It is an old house completely renovated, approximately 200 years old, just 350 meters above sea level. We live on the same property, in a separate house, with our little dog Fito and our affectionate cats who will surely pay you a visit (beware if you have allergies!). It has a separate, private entrance, as well as its own outdoor areas. It has all kinds of accessories, such as information about the island, toys, a yoga mat and beach towels (on request), books, board games and a CD player with radio, Bluetooth / USB and a large collection of CDs. In addition, WiFi, Smart TV, and heating for the days when temperatures may drop a little. The house is distributed over several floors (bedroom with a single bed (0.90mx2.00m) and a double bed (1.60mx2.00m) for 3 people and the bathroom on the lower part, accessing by a staircase you reach the first floor where we have the kitchen-dining room with the relaxation corner and from there you access by another staircase to the highest part where the beautiful wooden gallery is located with a double bed (1.40mx2.00m) and the TV corner with access to the semi-roofed terrace) The kitchen (with table and five chairs) is perfectly equipped with everything you need and has a relaxation corner with an electric fireplace (with a fire effect but no heating). The bedroom has a closet and a large mirror. Both the bedroom and bathroom have doors with mosquito nets for proper ventilation of the rooms and to guarantee the perfect temperature to sleep in both winter and summer. The bathroom has a shower, large mirror, and hairdryer. The partially covered and enclosed terrace with beautiful mountain and ocean views is perfect for sunny breakfasts. It has a cozy corner with a table, bench, and chairs, as well as 2 lounge chairs for sunbathing and a small mobile barbecue. "Casa Papaya 1" (about 70m2, and apart from the large partially covered terrace) is perfect for large families! If you're lucky with the weather, you can see the neighboring islands of Tenerife and La Gomera from it. In combination with "Casa Papaya 2" (also advertised on AIRBNB), (about 55m2 plus a large terrace and private garden), which is located in the same building, it can accommodate a total of 9 people (children under 12 years stay free), so it is perfect if grandparents or friends are also coming on vacation... each has their own house, but you stay in the same building. The two units are separated by exterior doors to ensure total privacy. The washing machine can be used for free and there are covered clotheslines. Towels, bedding, carpets and kitchen towels can be changed for clean clothes as many times as you wish during your stay, just let me know. The price does not include toilet paper or trash bags for the stay, but what is necessary for the day of arrival will be provided. There is also a small outdoor area with a garden, where you can harvest aromatic herbs. Your pets are very welcome (please take note of the rules) as long as the accommodation is treated with respect and care. If you wish, I can help you with the rental of an economical car or motorcycle or inform you about how to make guided tours reaching approximately 130m from the new volcano. Guest access The outdoor areas of Papaya 1 are totally private.
