Tiny House at the Forrest and Dunes (Kennemerduin)

Our comfortable detached wooden 'Tiny House' is located near Haarlem and Amsterdam, right next to the forest and the dunes of the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. The cottage is fully equipped. See the detailed description below. The space Our tiny house is located directly on the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. It is within walking or cycling distance of the beach and sea (5,5 km). The entrance to the cottage is on a road that leads to a riding stable/school. Directly on the other side of the road is the eco natura 2000 area. You step out the door, across the road and into the woods. In the adjacent nature, forest and dunes alternate and deer, roe deer, foxes, large grazers such as horses and bison and many bird species have their home. In short, the area is a paradise for nature lovers. But it is also a good place for lovers of the beach and sea. The house is located 5,5 km from the beach. You can walk or cycle to the beach via beautiful forest and dune paths. There you have the choice between a quiet beach where you can walk for miles or the busier parts, where you can eat and drink and even dance in the evening in cozy and trendy beach bars. If you want more dynamism for a day, visit Haarlem or Amsterdam. Haarlem has a beautiful historic city center, where you can visit a market, shop or eat out in the evening. Amsterdam is our capital, known for its canals and cool museums such as the Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt) and Van Gogh museum. By train you are in the center of Amsterdam within 30 minutes. The historic center of Haarlem can be reached within 10 minutes by train or by bicycle via the beautiful dune road. An advantage of the location of the cottage is that it borders directly on the forest, but at the same time the station of Santpoort Noord (named 'Access gate to nature' by the NS) is just around the corner. That makes a visit to Haarlem easy, you can also take a walk from Noord-Kennemerdduinen to Zuid-Kennemerduinen and take the train back from Bloemendaal. The walking route of the NS, among others, starts nearby. By the way, you will not experience any noise pollution from the track, it is also not in sight, see also the reviews. An afternoon of Wellness? Sauna Ridderrode is located on the other side of the meadow. Want to dive into the exciting history of the area? The beautiful and evocative ruin of Brederode is also located on the other side of the meadow. The matt black wooden exterior of the house makes it blend in nicely with its surroundings. The fresh white interior walls provide light and a feeling of freedom. The comfortable house is fully equipped. The box spring ensures a wonderful night's sleep. The sleek white kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and 4 hobs, a combimagnetron-oven and all kitchen utensils are available. The space is so efficiently arranged that you will not be short of anything. The cottage is heated with its own central heating (comfortable in the fall and winter). Behind the kitchen is the black bathroom with shower, little sink and toilet. The many windows involve the outside even more with the inside and the French doors complete the outdoor life. The shell terrace, where you can sit outside, refers to the nearby sea and the paint used is all on a natural basis. Our Bos en Strand B&B is proof of the possibility to live on a small surface and with few things, but to feel an enormous wealth. You can rent two electric bicycles from us for a reduced rate (compared to a commercial rental company). Other things to note Bikerental I rent two electric bicycles for €15.00 per bicycle per day. For a morning or afternoon I charge €8.00 per day per bicycle. If you want to rent a bicycle, let me know and I will bring you the keys and chargers. The batteries are already charged. It might be useful if I briefly explain how the bicycle works. Rental is at your own risk. In the event of, for example, a flat tire, you must ensure that you return home with the bicycle.
