This 1 bedroom/1bath/sofa sleeper, has a king size bed in the master bedroom, queen size sofa sleeper in living room, a fully furnished kitchen for entertaining, Sleeps 4 and includes use of lake frontage and day use of the docks (sorry, no overnight boat parking). Two parking spaces are provided with the condo. Guest access … is easy when you are in a great location. Across the parking lot, there is the A-Frame restaurant (full bar and kitchen) and the Lake House Event Center. There's a gas station, groceries, beer, wine and liqour (Four Seasons) across the street as well as a great pizza joint (Metigoshe Pizza). There's also a boat-in gas station on the northern part of the lake (Larson Marine). The Lake Metigoshe State Park is 1.2 miles a very short drive or a leisurely walk along the walking/biking path which circles the south lake. The Metigoshe Drive In are 2.0 miles and are next to the tennis courts and Lake House Gifts. Be sure to allow an afternoon or morning for a trip to visit the International Peace Garden and International Music Camp (20 mile) Other things to note Lake Metigoshe is 14 miles northeast of Bottineau, ND, located in the Turtle Mountain along the U.S./Canadian border and spreads over 1,544 acres with over 26 miles of shoreline. The lake has a maximum depth of 24 feet. Most of the lake is within the United States, with only the northernmost tip in Canada. The Lake is known as a four seasons area offering: swimming, canoeing, sailing, water-skiing and other water sports, camping, hiking, picnicking, downhill skiing, snowmobiling (over 250 miles of groomed trails), cross-country skiing, skating, sledding and ice fishing. The lake is noted for its northern pike, walleye and perch. The rolling hills, aspen forests and small lakes attract nature and photography lovers to the area. It is also the location of the Skinautiques waterskiing club which is the only international waterskiing club in the United States.
