House Three

Located on a working organic farm, which you can visit, there is lots of space to enjoy your holiday. It's 2km to beach & it’s a 5 minute walk both to the pub that does great food & the local shop The cottages are old style with a modern twist, (think ceiling beams and WiFi). The space Situated on a working organic working farm, you can go on a guided farm tour with owner John and Molly the dog to call the cows, feed the donkeys and collect eggs. Once you have finished your welcome tea in the spacious house and gardens, you can take a short walk to the the local pub and restaurant and the mini market. You can take a walk or short drive to the beach (2km) to work up an appetite for take away fish and chips in Kilmore Quay or take a trip to the magical world of the Saltee Islands to see a wild landscape inhabited by colonies of wonderful birds and other wildlife. John and Helen live across the road and can give you tips on Castles and gardens to visit, golf, shopping or something different to do - a maze perhaps or take a trip back in time on the Dunbrody famine ship. The kitchen is fully kitted out and there is a chest freezer separate from the fridge. WiFi, full laundry facilities and lots of space make this a pleasant home from home. We are child friendly, providing cots, high chairs or stair gates as needed, there are games and books indoors with lots of space and some toys outdoors. A goal, a boat and a chicken coup are some of the unusual additions to the lawn. Guest access Guests have the whole house to themselves and both private and shared gardens. They are also welcome to visit the farm, by arranging it with John. There are three houses altogether. You have your own back garden, and there is a large garden in the front, which is shared with the other 2 cottages on the site. Patio furniture, a goal & boat on the lawn and a chicken run make for a varied and relaxed space outside. The houses are accessed from the shared gateway via tarmac roadways. Other things to note There is a small supermarket, deli plus Post Office for basic groceries 300m away, another small supermarket in the next village (4km away) and lots of supermarkets in Wexford, 17km away. Tesco deliver for a small charge.
