Superb Farmhouse nr Sea - Swimming Pool & Hot Tub

The Old Farmhouse is a charming historical property which has been tastefully renovated to provide comfortable accommodation for up to twelve people in five/six bedrooms. It has a massive kitchen, two lounges and a fantastic 12 person Hot Tub / Swim Spa This cottage is less than a miles walk from the village of Pelynt which has two shops and a lovey pub. It is also just a two mile walk from the coastal path and the beautiful fishing village of Polperro , with its many bars and restaurants. The space The Old Farmhouse is on Polean Farm in Cornwall which is just 2 miles from a safe sandy beach and an easy walk to local pubs and restaurants. Guests have exclusive use of a 12 person hot tub (see below), plus a children's playroom and outdoor playground. Guests also have unlimited free use of an indoor heated swimming pool (located on a local holiday park just 2 miles away). We are very excited to announce that we have installed a large (3.8m x 2.36m !) Hot Tub / Swim Spa in the Farmhouse garden for the exclusive use of guests staying in the Farmhouse. The spa has hydrotherapy seating for 9 people (with water jets on your back) and has room for 3 more people in the pool with you at the same time - so the whole family can join in. The Beautiful fishing village of Polperro is just 2 miles, Looe is 3 miles, the sailing port of Fowey is 5 miles and the Eden Project is 9 miles away. EV CHARGING : Please note that a 7KW Electric Car charger will be available for guests to use on the farm from the beginning of June (charged at 65p/kw). The Old Farmhouse is a charming historical farmhouse which has been tastefully renovated to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to twelve people in five bedrooms (maximum occupancy is up to twelve adults, or children plus two infants in cots). The Old Farmhouse has a massive kitchen, two lounges (plus two TV’s and two log burners). It also has its own Wi-Fi. With its own private south facing garden, large patio area(with hot tub and barbeque) and parking for up to 3 cars . The Old Farmhouse is perfect for a large family get together or for two families to holiday together. The heart of the farmhouse is the massive family kitchen, with a large dining table , island workbench / breakfast bar and with doors out to the rear garden. The kitchen has a small sofa and benches for relaxing. It also has a vaulted beamed ceiling and is always flooded with light from the ten glass doors and windows. The kitchen was originally used for parking the farm tractors and you can still see the exposed stone of the old farmhouse wall and even the back of the clay bread oven that was once used to bake bread for the family. The kitchen now has all the modern conveniences to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including a double range oven, American fridge/freezer, microwave , wine fridge, double sink and a 50 inch tv. For those staying in winter the kitchen also has a log burning stove (though it is not needed as the central heating is more than adequate). From the kitchen there are double doors through into the wide corridor and from there doors lead into the two lounges and the downstairs bedroom. The main lounge is beautifully furnished and has a 55inch TV smart TV. From the main lounge , double doors take you through to the small lounge, which offers a peaceful seating area. The small lounge was once the kitchen for the farmhouse and still has the original stone hearth and bread ovens built into the 4ft thick wall. The room now has a log burner fitted , which is perfect for sitting in front of during winter nights. This room also has a comfortable double sofa bed and can act as the 6th bedroom. Upstairs the Farmhouse has four bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a king size bed, The third bedroom has a double bed and the fourth bedroom has a three quarter bed .There is room for a cot in the first or second bedrooms. Upstairs there is also a shared bathroom with a large shower and a separate bath. The fifth bedroom is downstairs, off the main hall and has two single beds. There is also a downstairs toilet abd shower room making the downstairs bedroom suitable for guests with limited mobility (please note that it is not an en-suite toilet – but is available on the ground floor via the reception area at the front of the farmhouse). The Old Farmhouse can accommodate up to twelve adults or children, plus two additional infants in a cot. PLEASE NOTE: We will accept up to 12 adults, but one of the beds is a small single (so a squeeze for two) and another bed is a double sofa bed. We also allow up to four well behaved dogs in the farmhouse, but they must be restricted to the kitchen and garden and a security deposit will be required. Please note that there is an additional charge for dogs as follows: 1 Dog :  £10 per night (with a maximum charge of £50) 2 Dogs :  £15 per night (with a maximum charge of £75) 3 Dogs :  £20 per night (with a maximum charge of £100) 4 Dogs :  £20 per night (with a maximum charge of £100) Guest access SWIMMING POOL Guests at the farm also get free use of an indoor heated swimming pool just three miles from the farm (on the road into Looe). Open 11 months of the year (it is closed in August), the pool is fully heated and air conditioned, with adjoining heated-changing rooms and showers. It’s perfect for families and children who want to splash around or those wanting to put in a few lengths and keep fit. The pool is approximately 17m X 8m in size and has a safe, constant depth of 1.3m. There is a small toddler pool for little ones, who want a quieter area to enjoy the water. There is also a pleasant seating area next to the pool for the non-swimmers. The pool is free to use for Polean Farm guests. There are, however, some sessions (aqua fit, kids’ swimming lessons etc.) which may involve extra cost. Also please note that the pool is not available to use in August (but is available the rest of the year). Please note there is a pre-bookable 1 hour slot to use the pool and can be booked no more than 7 days in advance. The pool is lifeguarded at all times, however to ensure a safe environment for all under 8’s and non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult in the pool at all times. Please note that the pool is not available in August.
