Cockatoo Corner: Blue Mountains

Cosy studio cottage off the main road The space A comfy studio cottage with a verandah looking over the bush. Self contained, peaceful and private. There is abundant bird life in the bush, cockatoos, lyrebirds, kookaburras, rosellas, king parrots to name a few. They will be happy to wake you in the morning with their singing. You might be lucky to see the local wallaby in the coolness of the morning. Relax on the balcony with a coffee or a cool drink and enjoy the quietness of the area or watch the cockatoos. The studio is one large room and has a queen size bed that folds up into the wall to give you plenty of room during the day, a cozy sitting area with a lounge that converts to a fold-out double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette (with Microwave) and a large bathroom with a washing machine. There is an air conditioner to keep you warm in winter and to keep you cool in summer. We do not have a TV in the cottage. We will provide you with clean sheets and fresh towels. If you intend to use the sofa bed as well, please advise us so we provide the required bedding for your visit. Other items we have for your use: Microwave, hot plate, fridge, hair dryer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and free wifi. Cockatoo Corner is next door to our house and has a separate access to the studio cottage with car parking outside the front door. Other things to note $25 fee for extra guests over 2 applies to all extra guests aged over 2. STRICTLY No Smoking or vaping on the property. Access to our cottage is best by private car. There is parking on the property next to cottage and it is easy to drive to all the places that you require. Although public transport is available, it is more difficult to get around as it is a 30 minute walk to train station and buses are not super frequent. Registration Details PID-STRA-8004
