The space An 1880's Heritage-listed residence surrounded by beautiful, established gardens, located 600 meters from centre of Ulverstone, a short stroll to Buttons Beach and 20 mins to the Devonport Ferry. This exquisite provincial 'hotel' styled, bed and breakfast accommodation includes three 'double' bedrooms inside and a self-contained, fully fitted cottage outside. Winterbrook House is a magnificent, Heritage Trust listed property, steeped in history and is one of Ulverstone' s best kept secrets. The main house showcases the original entrance, living room and former dining room (now a welcoming cottage kitchen) complete with timber-lined walls and '14 foot' (4.5m high) ceilings. The homestead is surrounded by wide, covered verandahs and an extensive, established private garden, set on 1.2 acres and complete with a fountain and circular entrance driveway. Under new ownership, the three double rooms inside the main house have been lovingly refurbished and now offer double or twin share with either Ensuite or shared bathroom facilities. Not far from the original stables is a spacious cottage complete with bathroom including bath and double shower and a kitchenette. All rooms are fitted with TVs and Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Once a popular venue for weddings, the gardens are in the process of careful evaluation and appraisal by arborists and horticulturalists with a view to restoring them to their former beauty.
