Grade II listed new barn conversion in Oxfordshire
Description
Our recently converted barn is in the yard of a Grade II listed village farmhouse. Minutes from J10 of the M40, we are conveniently located for RH England, Bicester Village, Soho Farmhouse, Blenheim Palace, Silverstone and Oxford. The barn has a big open space with wood burning stove, large TV and open plan kitchen. The main bedroom, shower room and separate WC are in the old stables. The open plan mezzanine has two single beds (to be booked separately) and free-standing bath. The space Our barn is not suitable for those wanting to stay with infants or young children If you would like to stay this is the number of beds we will make up depending on the number of guests booking: 1 -2 guests = 1 double bed 3 guests = 1 double bed and 1 single bed 4 guests = 1 double bed and 2 single beds If you are two or three guests and require a bed each please book for an extra person and let us know at the time of booking the number of beds you will require. The newly converted space is contemporary but warm and comfortable. The vaulted ceiling and stone walls of the main barn are original features, we have added Crittal style French doors that open onto the garden or yard, a wood-burning stove with oven and hot plate, large TV, new kitchen, bedroom and shower room. The barn is furnished with antiques and British made contemporary furniture and lighting and we are delighted to provide lots of candle light, fresh flowers, delicious dinners to pre-order, logs and an honesty bar for your stay. We have provided a fire pit and table and chairs for sitting outside. We can provide a ping pong table, yoga mats and weights and a rowing machine on request. We have private parking for 1-2 cars. Follow us on @barnatcourtfarm Guest access Access is through a farmyard gate, where there is parking for up to 2 cars (covered garage on request). The barn is located at the NE corner of the yard with fire pit and seating area to the front. There is access to a lawn and further seating area to the back of the barn. Other things to note We have decided not to put curtains across the 2 large barn french doors/windows to allow maximum amount of light and sunshine and to keep the barn feel. While the barn is not directly overlooked, the front window look on to the farmyard and therefore your privacy may be impacted. Please note that the bedroom is self contained and fully private.
