This is a compact and well-appointed property designed to bring the outside in and promote maximum light and sun from a north-facing aspect. There are two living areas plus north and south facing patios and decks. The northern aspect overlooks Blue Waters lake situated in old Ocean Grove. An ornamental vine and cantilevered umbrella provide shade over the northern deck. producing a gracious verdant environment only minutes from the river, beach, shops, restaurants and cafes. The space Cathedral ceilings and three generous-sized bedrooms plus two bathrooms and two sizeable living areas generate a sense of ease and space. Three queen beds and a fold-away single bed may accommodate a maximum of 7 persons or, more realistically, 6 adults and 1 child. Please note that one bedroom occupies a mezzanine floor above the second living room which turns into a parents' retreat by operating french doors and blinds for additional privacy. A green vista from the north-facing spacious deck has a BBQ and tables and chairs with a cantilevered umbrella for outside meals and gatherings. The southern garden offers a reading nook and quiet contemplation. Vista Verde will not be let as a party house. It is a quiet neighbourhood welcoming small groups or families. A slow-combustion wood-fire warms the main living area quickly in the winter while the second living space is heated with air conditioning. Both living areas have air-con. Expect a well-stocked kitchen. Tea coffee, salt and pepper, oil and balsamic vinegar plus a full range of herbs and spices are provided. There is a smart TV with Fetch Top Box to use with your own login passwords. Wifi available. Two cars can easily fit in the driveway. Guests often tell me they love the house. Guest access Guests have access to a whole house. Other things to note People from all ethnicities and backgrounds are welcome in the house. It will not be let as a party house. Please note that in the event of a rally of hot days during a visit, a gardener will come in briefly to turn on and turn off sprinklers.
