Description
Welcome to The Cosy Corner, a comfortable bolthole for two people in the beautifully situated town of Sedbergh. Woven into the Victorian fabric of the Yorkshire Dales, The Cosy Corner which is situated on the first floor above a corner shop has a great vantage point to take in the views. It makes the perfect place for a break, just at the end of Main Street - so within a few strides of the local shops, some great eateries, pubs and of course, the foot of Winder hill. The space The Cosy Corner is set on the first floor of 86 Main Street - above the Charity Shop 'Clutter Books & Clobber'. The Brown Door in the Alley leads to a communal hall way, and on the first floor you can find the private entrance to The Cosy Corner. There is no lift in this Grade II Listed Building. Parking is available in Joss Lane Car Park for extended stays. Guest access Access is via a coded access lock on the main door, and then a key in a lock box inside. The key can be used for both the external and internal door during your stay. Please remember to leave the key in the lockbox when you leave. Thanks 🙏 Other things to note NOISE : We have taken every precaution when renovating to reduce noise transfer between the floors, however, there are occasions when our guests have mentioned they can hear unwanted noises from upstairs (jumping/stomping and a childs' toy with wheels going backwards and forwards). If you are bothered by any noise from above, please do not hesitate to knock on the door and chat to the other guests (we've mentioned this in our Penthouse booking too). RECYCLING : Sedbergh is a ZeroWaste town, and there is extensive recycling facilities in the Joss Lane car park (behind the Tourist Information Centre & Public Toilets). We encourage you to utilise these facilities where possible.
