Stay at an artist's home in France

I'm an artist and designer who loves traveling. When I travel, I like my home to be appreciated by great people ! You will find your stay charming in this three-storied home with nature close by, and the charm of a small traditional French village. The space The space you will rent is unique in many ways. First it is very spacious and peaceful, being set on three stories above a big garden full of chirping birds. The apartment comprises a mezzanine, with a bedroom on the second floor, and another mezzanine floor, which is huge and set in a former attic, with lovely conserved rustic wooden beams. It's been entirely renovated and is usually used as an art studio, which will be for you a nicely arranged cozy bedroom suite. The space can thus be used by one person, a couple, or a family with the parents having their independent space upstairs, and the children their bedroom in the second floor. If you need some quiet time, to work or to write, you'll find this place perfect, also because it's so close to nature where you can take long walks, or naps :)) The village has a pharmacy, and two very good boulangeries (bakeries) which are 5 minutes walking distance. The place is also great if you have a long vehicle, as there is a parking lot right by the house, and if you own a dog, as you can easily walk your pet to big areas where it can play and run, safe from cars. The apartment is set right by the village church, which is lovely and dates back to the 17th century. It is a basilica, which I highly recommend as a place of interest, especially make sure to ask to visit the spire. The apartment is also right next to a hairdresser's. Guests will have access to : - a parking lot - a pharmacy - an awesome bakery - a hairdresser - a pizzeria restaurant - some places of interest in the village - a large field where you can play with a dog or take naps, entrance free at any time - long walks in the nearby nature, fields and forests. (access free) Other things to note In view of recent reviews of my space I would like to specifiy that I am not a professional of tourism. The apartment I offer for staying at is my work space as an artist, and the place where I live, so it's not state of the art novelty because it is not an empty house meant to be rented to tourists. It is just a convenient space I wish to offer to passing travelers, to help and accommodate them. So if you are looking for a place for your vacations, maybe that's not it. I also had recent reviews stating the people were disappointed with the outside environment. I am not responsible for that ! And for possible places of entertainment, you should ask me, but if you didn't have fun don't rate my space about it, lol. I try to do my absolute best for my guests, on the basis of kindness, which is not always reciprocated unfortunately. Hope you will have a great stay at my lovely quirky place ! One last thing: it is entirely possible to book it for a long period of time, for example 1 to 3 months. However, as this is my workplace, to make this type of reservation you must notify me well in advance so that I can organize myself and liberate the space. (a week in advance won't be enough!!)
