Troll House Red: Adventure vacation on the farm

Welcome to Auerberg! The two troll houses (red and green) stand in the middle of our orchard on our Erlebnishof Badwerk in a single location at 900 m altitude on the Auerberg. In addition to the bipeds, horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, cats and our farm dog Phil live here. The location invites you to relax and be active around the Auerberg, but also offers short distances to numerous other tourist attractions such as Neuschwanstein, Füssen or hikes around Tegel and Buchenberg. The space Each of the two winter-proof troll houses with approx. 12.5 square meters is equipped with a maximum of 4 sleeping accommodations (1 double bed, 1 bed, 1 pull-out bed), a small bathroom with shower, sink and toilet (potty on request), a table with 4 seats and a small wardrobe. Linens and towels are included. Daylight falls through two small windows on the front sides of the cottage and through a window in the entrance door. The cottage is fully electrified, so that a refrigerator for storing food, a boiler for generating hot water for shower and sink and underfloor heating can be operated. Sockets are available in sufficient quantity. A night light for orientation is installed. In front of the cottage, a small terrace, equipped with a table and chairs, invites you to linger. In addition, a spacious and heated lounge is at the disposal of our guests in a separate building about 20 m away. The room is equipped with tables for about 10 people and with two induction plates as cooking facilities. Matching dishes are available on site, and a sink with a hot water boiler is also available. For coffee preparation, both an espresso pot and a capsule machine are available. In the lounge, we also provide reading material and games for young and old. Dryer and washing machine are available in the main house and can be used by guests for a small fee. Wi-Fi is not available. Next door in the orchard there is also a grill and fireplace, which is available to guests by arrangement. Wood is provided by us (for a small fee). The lounge is exclusively for the use of the guests of the two troll houses. The barbecue and fireplace are used by all residents and guests. Guest access Each troll house has its own small terrace in front of the entrance and its own access. Parking is available on site. If desired, we will gladly send you detailed directions when booking. Other things to note Our farm is affiliated with a riding business with livery horses, school horses and ponies. By arrangement, you are welcome to use our riding arena, take riding lessons or walk our specially equipped trails and obstacle courses with the animals. If you are interested, please contact us in advance! The neighborhood: As excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity, in addition to the Auerberg and its numerous hiking trails, the Feuerstein Gorge, a moss adventure trail, various small swimming lakes with a rustic atmosphere or a small children's ski lift in winter are waiting to be discovered. Many other sights and cultural monuments such as the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, the Wies Church, Füssen and the Forggensee or the hiking areas around Tegel, Buchen or Breitenberg are also within acceptable proximity. Pricing: The minimum stay is 3 nights, with arrival on Friday 2 nights (weekend package). A shorter stay is only possible in exceptional cases on request. A discount is granted for more than 7 nights. A flat-rate cleaning fee will be charged per booking. The use of washing machine and dryer is charged at a flat rate per wash load. The spa fee and any applicable fees for the use of the riding facilities or riding lessons are not included in the price. Please note: For day guests or visitors, a flat fee of €10 per person will be charged. Infants are exempt. There is no smoking in the troll huts and in front of them. In the event of an infringement, an additional fee of €100 will be charged for intensive cleaning of the wood as well as a loss of earnings of €300 due to non-rentability of the accommodation due to odor nuisance during the ventilation phase.
