WILDLIFE Our Subic Nests are surrounded by the rainforest, and are home to a variety of animals such as monkeys, bats, insects, birds and reptiles such as the very harmless gecko. We use a "Double-Redundancy" setup (One Fiber line + Starlink backup) to ensure you stay connected even in the rainforest. Q: Do I need a car to stay here? A: We highly recommend bringing a vehicle. While taxis exist, they can be pricey. A local bus plies the village routes at scheduled intervals. Q: Is the kitchen suitable for cooking? A: Absolutely. It is fully equipped with pots, pans, and a stove. Note: We do not have a microwave, but we provide a toaster and kettle. Q: Are there stairs? A: Yes, Cahaya Nest is on the 2nd Floor of a vintage Navy stilt house, so you will need to climb stairs. Q: Is it safe with the monkeys and bats? A: Yes! They are wild neighbors. As long as you keep food indoors and view them from a distance (do not feed them!), they are a wonderful part of the experience. Q: How far is the nearest beach? A: All Hands beach is just 5 minutes from our house, and our favorite Camayan Beach is approximately 15 minutes away by car. WANT TO BOOK MULTIPLE UNITS?
