The Green Room is one of 2 bedrooms at The Hide, a brand new, timber framed, contemporary converted barn set in 10 acres in a beautiful, tranquil rural valley, with views of Dartmoor and only 15 mins drive to the sea. Private parking, outdoor garden space with seating and table. Kingsbridge, with cafes, restaurants, cinema, farmers' market and local shops is 4 miles. Avon Mill Garden Centre and cafe is a green lane 2 mile walk away. Perfect for walking, SUP boarding, fishing or just relaxing. The space A timber "eco" house with wood and limestone flooring, underfloor heating, spacious sleeping (5mx3.5m) and wet/shower rooms (4m x3m) with waterfall showers. 100% Linen bedding, on a king size Simba mattress("the best night's sleep I've ever had" as at least one guest has commented) teas & coffee available in your room with shared continental breakfast, (home baked bread, croissants, fresh fruit and yogurt, oats and fresh laid boiled eggs if you fancy) in the library/print room, (a maximum total of 4 guests at table). We have two friendly cats and chickens, so sorry no pets. During your stay We live at The Hide and will welcome you on arrival. We will be available to offer advice on local places to visit. Please ask if there is anything that you need during your stay that is listed but not in your room and we will make sure that it is available for your use. Other things to note PLANNED WALKING EXPERIENCE: Fancy a walking vacation? We can drop you off and pick you up each day of your stay with us, taking the worry out of how to get to and from your chosen route and avoiding the need for a circular one. We have our recommendations for several planned coastal walks in the area with excellent lunch/evening time stops.
