MountainView Cabin-Barrington Tops

Beautiful accommodation in a fully self-contained cabin, with panoramic views of the Barrington Tops., with a queen bedroom & a bedroom with single bunk beds. It is equipped for disabled access, plus has a spa bath, well equipped kitchenette, full size stove and fridge, microwave, BBQ, verandah & private firepit. Linen is provided. There is other accommodation on the 100 acre property but they are well set out to provide privacy. Ideal for a weekend away, especially for a small group or family. The space This delightful cabin faces north with views of the bush and surrounding area. It is one of only 3 dwellings on 100 mostly wooded acres. Relax in the spa bath after a hard day’s bushwalking, BBQ on the veranda, or prepare food in the well equipped kitchenette and enjoy your very own outdoor firepit. The bathroom has a spa bath as well as a walk in shower. There is a solar hot water system, with a booster switch near the stove. A half hour will reheat the water on those overcast or wintery days, so there is always plenty to go round Take a picnic and swim in the flowing Williams River 2km away; take leisurely walks, maybe to the pristine “Die Happy” creek. Picnic blankets and picnic gear are provided for use on the property or down by the river. If you have need of an accessible shower this cabin will work for you. The basic cost assumes 2 people sharing the queen bed. If for any reason you want to use the bunk beds just add an extra person. If there is just the 2 of you and you don't need the accessible shower have you considered our other cabin Valley View? Remember our cleaning fee is absorbed in the price making your cost simple. Guest access Fosterton Retreat- Mountain View Cabin is reached via an all weather roads. The Fosterton Loop is well signposted and forms part of the network of tourist drives in the area. If there has been prolonged heavy rain or flooding the bridge at Newells Crossing might be out of action, there is another way to access our property and we will update you with these directions if needed. It will mean going over the railway line and 2.5 kms later turning into Fosterton Road. There is a little extra unsealed road to fdrive on and when you get to Moylans Road it will be a righthand turn and the rest of the directions are the same after that Other things to note Our pricing starts at 2 people sharing the queenbed, and as linen is supplied should 2 people require separate beds, a linen fee of $30 will apply as it would mean someone sleeping in a single bed. Our other cabin Valley View has a queenbed and a pullout lounge if you want to consider that. On the property there is another cabin nearby and a House a few hundred metres up the hill. The layout means that each dwelling has their own fire pit and privacy is optimised. There are 3 labyrinths on the property: an 11 circuit, a 5 circuit or the wild one amongst the ironbark trees, each allows meditative walks for experiential reflection. Dungog is a high rainfall area but whenever staying in the country and planning to have a fire it is important to check the local conditions.
