The space DESCRIPTION: This elegant villa is located 7 minutes from the medieval village of Capalbio. Surrounded by an important private historical garden, it is also part of a historical complex, called La Ferriera. It is in fact an ancient ironworks, now transformed into a charming residence, becoming a real paradise in the heart of Tuscany. The "Marocchina house", so called for its furnishings, is a house of extraordinary charm and also very special. The property can accommodate 6 (maximum 8) guests and is equipped with 3 (or 4) bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. The house consists of an apartment and an annex in the charming garden. Upon request, it can be combined with a Loft with independent access but connected internally with 2 other bedrooms with bathroom and living area with kitchenette. LIVING AREA: The living room opens onto the terrace and garden with three large glass doors. The living area has the traditional terracotta floor, here you will find the living room with the fireplace on one side, the dining table in the center and a study on the other. The whole room is surrounded by a library with books on plants, flowers and gardens and with Moroccan furnishings brought from the family's stays abroad. The living room is equipped with a smart TV, wifi, and a stereo system for music. The large terrace with stone floor consists of a large living room and a dining table. In this first main room you have access to the fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator, oven, appliances, etc. SLEEPING AREA: In the main house there are two bedrooms: - The first bedroom is very large with a majestic double bed of ancient Persian origin topped by a large iron crown that supports the mosquito net. The bed was part of the Persian wedding rite. The bed is suspended on 4 feet and accessible only by ladder. The room has its own bathroom divided into two (shower and toilet). - The second bedroom has a large double bed (separable into two single beds) with its own bathroom overlooking the Maremma countryside, equipped with a shower and bathtub. THE DEPENDANCE IN THE GARDEN: - The third bedroom is a suite/annex in the garden, about 200 meters from the house, called "the little house". The "gardener's house" is a real miniature house consisting of two overlapping floors. On the ground floor, there is the living room and the bathroom. Upstairs, there is a romantic bedroom with a double bed and a fireplace. The upper floor is accessed via a very steep staircase, not recommended for the less agile. Upon request, you can also have a double bed (or 2 single beds) on the ground floor. The house can thus accommodate up to 4 people in 2 connecting rooms with only 1 shared bathroom. GARDEN: The two outdoor terraces suitable for receiving are fully equipped with chairs and tables. The garden is pleasantly shady and therefore enjoyable even in the middle of summer. BATHING FACILITY: The house does not have a swimming pool, but 7.5 km (8 min. by car) away is the famous "Ultima Spiaggia" beach resort with services and a restaurant, considered the "place to be" in Capalbio during the summer.
