The Château de Panisseau, a perfect example of feudal Périgord architecture, offers you this magnificent and very spacious gîte in the heart of its wine estate. Surrounded by vines, forests and wide open spaces, this haven of peace is less than 30 minutes from Bergerac. An ideal place to welcome your family and friends. It is fully equipped with a careful decoration. The space The gîte is on one floor with beautiful spaces, all comfortable and very well equipped. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a comfortable lounge for you to relax in. Upstairs you will find 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed. All 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom. Beds are made up, towels and pool towels are provided. A barbecue and a private outdoor terrace await you for a relaxing moment. The shared swimming pool, heated from June to September, and the garden allow you to relax in peace. The property is vast and everyone can easily find their place during their stay. Guest access We are in the commune of Thénac (24240) in the Dordogne department, about 18 km from Bergerac and its airport. At 5 km from the village of Sigoulès-et-Flaugeac where you will find a bakery, a mini-market, a post office, a bar, a restaurant... and at 14 km from Eymet. The village of Les Pruniers, an internationally renowned Buddhist centre, is only 3 km away. The Dordogne represents the vast majority of the Périgord region, one of the most beautiful regions of France with its splendid and hilly landscapes, its typical architecture, its thousand and one castles and its medieval villages rich in history, of which more than one surround us. Children can go canoeing on the Dordogne, visit prehistoric caves such as Lascaux or the Proumeyssac chasm or go to the Bergerac Aquarium, go horse riding or cycling. For the more adventurous there is go-karting, ballooning over the Dordogne valley and for golf enthusiasts the magnificent course at Les Vigiers just 10 minutes away. And, of course, the gastronomy and wine tasting of Bergerac, including those of our vineyard "Château de Panisseau". Other things to note We insist that everyone respects the peace and harmony of the site. For our part, we are always available for everyone's comfort. You can either do your own cleaning at the end of your stay, or we can take care of it for 200€. Please inform us of your decision at the beginning of your stay.
