Enter via a foot bridge into this earthy, coastal retreat and you won’t want to leave your private haven with its own spa, open fireplace, pool table and more than enough space for everyone to unwind. The space With massive shared spaces for gathering and secluded private areas too this house is made for one purpose only - holidays! Our architecturally designed coastal retreat is soulful and well crafted, if you appreciate good design this is the place to inspire you. Our home has been featured in design magazines, books and blogs and regularly used as a photoshoot location. Once you spend some time here you will appreciate the work that has gone into making it a very special place. As soon as you open the door you know it’s time to unwind. Every detail is taken care of as you are welcomed into a huge split level upstairs living zone, flooded in north facing light, looking onto the huge deck. The beautiful interior design includes indigenous artwork and artefacts and a collection of mid century furniture and objects to indulge your senses. Our spaces are made for communal gathering and are a cook’s dream with a fully equipped kitchen and 4m long table large enough to comfortably sit 12. We invite you to feast with friends and family and soak up the energy of this oasis in all seasons. Our home is always warm and light with an open fireplace for winter getaways and during the summer months the whole house opens up to cool sea breezes and garden views. With a choice of 4 bedrooms, there is plenty of room to spread out. Upstairs the Master Bedroom has its own private deck and stunning ensuite with elevated views over the spectacular garden. Downstairs there’s a choice of 3 spacious rooms, including a bunk room and trundles which are great for a full house. The huge downstairs has two separate entrances, one from the front where you can take a warm outside shower coming back from the beach or enter from the garden. Downstairs is kids heaven with a huge rumpus room with a pool table and cinema zone. This pool room opens onto the lawned area through massive sliding doors and offers direct access to our private hot tub and fire pit. It's a perfect space to enjoy a game of cricket and sit in the garden on a warm evening. If you have come to explore the wonders of the Mornington Peninsula you can do so from your back door step. It is an easy stroll through the dunes to spectacular St Andrews Beach and only minutes to world class golf courses, the Peninsula Hot Springs, Alba Thermal Springs and Spa, St Andrews Beach Brewery, Gunnamatta Trail Rides and more. We look forward to welcoming guests who share our passion for good design and the experiences which stem from creating the right spaces for communal gathering allowing special shared memories with family and friends to evolve. Guest access Access Codes are sent before 10am the morning of your arrival. Vehicles & parking: Max four cars. SLEEPING CONFIGURATION: Bedroom: King Bed includes Ensuite Bedroom: Queen Bed Bedroom: Four Single Beds (Bunks) (plus a single trundle) Bedroom: Two Single Beds (plus a single trundle) Other things to note Please note our cleaning costs include full laundering of all 10 beds, towels, cleaning of spa once a week, gardening and house clean - the fee we charge does not cover our costs for this. Also note Airbnb fees and state tax is taken from total fee that doesn’t not reach us. Bookings are subject to the standard booking terms and conditions which are displayed on Airbnb. Parties are strictly prohibited. The property features outward-facing security cameras at entries for the protection of our home and guests alike. Vehicles & parking: Max four cars. Please note that Council rules stipulate a limit of vehicles to be parked at the property at any time (short stay accomm rules). All guest cars must be parked on the property, off the street. We have parking for three cars out the front in the carpark area and one can be nosed in to our double gates (not the neighbours', thanks). Council has asked we let guests know that they will be enforcing this especially on weekends...thanks. No Schoolies. For security reasons, a copy of your current Australian Driver’s License or International Passport is required prior to check-in, we also need to confirm the names & ages for all guests staying at the property. MORNINGTON PENINSULA COUNCIL RULES: Council Short Stay Registration no. STRA0266/22. Please see the Council code of conduct as displayed at the house, or by searching: "SHORT STAY RENTAL ACCOMMODATION CODE OF CONDUCT" on the Mornington Peninsula Council website. We will be unable to continue with your booking if you fail to agree to the above terms.
