Our stone built self contained cottage is situated on our working farm adjacent to our farm house. With two very spacious upstairs bedrooms. A tasteful well equipped cottage with a private patio. We are in a quiet rural location, therefore a car is needed We’re surrounded by beautiful countryside ideal for walking cycling and relaxing. The nearest pub is about a 15 minutes walk We are 2 miles from the market town of Wirksworth on the edge of the Peak District. Please read our fantastic reviews. The space If you are looking for a quiet break in the countryside look no further. A self contained stone built cottage with two spacious bedrooms BEDROOM 1 (ochre/grey) Has a beautiful indigo KING sized bed, a large armchair to enjoy the views outside. and it’s own private shower. BEDROOM 2 (blue/orange) Has 2 SINGLE beds, these can be zip and linked together to change into a SUPER KING bed (please confirm by message if this is required when making a booking) Check out the photos. This room also has a two seater leather sofa great to relax with a good book. A separate bathroom with a toilet, sink and bath. Lovely oak beamed downstairs lounge/diner/kitchen. Well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob. French doors leading to a private patio with table and chairs, with a view of a small paddock field which may have sheep and lambs in it depending on the season. There’s a small Porch area including a washing machine and a small freezer Oil central heating throughout the cottage BBQ and tools provided High chair and travel cot included on request Unlimited free wifi Towels and bed linen are provided Other things to note There is a welcome drinks pack In the cottage for when you arrive with some coffee, tea, biscuits and some milk in the fridge. We provide tea towels, oven gloves. Wash tabs, washing up liquid, and many extra items you may need during your stay.
