"THE RETREAT"

"The Retreat" is a beautiful and tastefully decorated fully furnished self contained Annexe adjoining our 17th century farm house complete with it's own private garden for you and for your pooches to sit out in when the weather is kind ! Although, old, the Annexe itself has been updated with a modern bathroom and open plan kitchen and living room, yet still manages to retain it's original features and beams and still has that cosy cottage feeling ! we like to call it a" home from home ! " The space Being dog lovers ourselves, well behaved dogs are accepted at no extra charge, UNLESS any damage is caused ! There are loads of local bridle ways and walking areas very near to us where dogs can be walked.. As a retired chef I am very happy to prepare breakfast for you or even cook you an evening meal, however, the kitchen has everything you need to go it alone so to speak ! I use the best produce available from local suppliers and fresh fruit and veg from my own garden as and when in season ! Breakfast starts at £10.00 per head, meals can be discussed and priced accordingly ! Guest access The cottage is entirely yours to come and go as you please ...and at the end of the day you can take time out to chill and relax in your own totally secluded garden with a glass of wine or two and just unwind at the end of the day ! Please note that other guests are not accepted to come around to our property without prior notice... Other things to note When you check in, the house will have all the things you might need after a long journey, Tea, Coffee, Milk, , Bread and Butter, to mention just a couple of things, and all types of condiments and cooking oils etc etc, which are yours to use ! so if it is late there will be food there for you even if it's only beans on toast ! I will always ring you prior to your arrival to check what your tastes are and wether you would like anything specific..we also have a picnic hamper that you can use and their are lots of games and puzzles too !
