The recently converted Buttermilk cottage has a lounge / dining room, a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, a children's room with two single beds, a master bedroom with king size bed and hotel style bathroom. The garden is fully enclosed with a brick BBQ and features a wood fired hot tub available for £75 per stay. We accept up to 2 dogs up to the size of a small Labrador. (£25 per dog). The space A recently converted 200 year old barn, Buttermilk cottage has a lounge / dining room, a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, a children's room with two single beds, a master bedroom with king size bed or twin single beds and hotel style bathroom with vanity mirror, towel rail and fold away shower screen. Please note that we recommend that the children's room is only suitable for children over five years old as the staircase is steep (but has child safety gates). We accept up to 2 dogs up to the size of a small Labrador. We’ve designed The Appleloft Suite with dogs in mind, offering easy‑wipe floors, bowls, treats, towels, poo bags, and even a “Contact Us” dog tag for peace of mind. Outside, dogs can roam off‑lead through our private woodland, with miles of countryside walks starting right from your door. Buttermilk cottage has a secure private garden, and we also offer a dog‑sitting service in case you fancy a few hours away. For muddy adventures, there’s an exclusive dog bath with hot and cold water, plus a dedicated drying room and secure dog field coming soon. Everything here is set up to make your dog’s stay as relaxed and enjoyable as yours. Guest access At Puddleduck Valley, guests have full access to our private estate, with acres of woodland, open meadows, and gentle streams beginning just steps from your cottage door. Step outside and you’re already in the heart of the landscape, free to wander miles of paths where dogs can enjoy safe, off‑lead adventures and explore to their hearts’ content. Just beyond our boundary, you can continue straight into hundreds of acres of National Trust and Forestry Commission woodland, offering even more space to roam without ever needing to get in the car. Families love discovering the hidden swings tucked among the trees and the shallow stream where children can build dams and play for hours. It’s a place where everyone — two‑legged and four‑legged — can roam freely. Other things to note We accept two small dogs (up to the size of a small Labrador) in the cottage. We charge £25 per dog per stay. Additional terms and conditions apply. Please note that we don't accept all male groups. The hot tub is charged at £75 per stay.
