Isolde Cottage

Welcome to a traditional Cornish stone self contained cottage which has been completely renovated and modernised. A short drive to the sea at Gwithian (perfect for sunsets and 4miles long at low tide) and set in a rural location with access to the pool and beautiful garden. Just 2 mins from the A30 with great access to visit all of Cornwall and of course St Ives. The space The house maintains some of the cottage features like the old Victorian range but you will be pleased to know a brand new modern kitchen and washing machine have been fitted! There is a large window too, so you can lay back and observe the stars from your bed and enjoy the walk in shower after a hard day surfing! The cottage was built around 1880 when people were a lot shorter so you might need to duck as you walk from the kitchen to the lounge! Due to steep stairs and the layout we are not suitable for younger children. We take babes in arms and children over 8. Also, the swimming pool does not have a kids friendly shallow end. Steps down to 3ft and 6ft 6" at the deep end. Lifebuoy by pool. Please contact us if you have any special requirements or would like us to consider your needs requests. Guest access There is a separate garden for the cottage with a BBQ and Firepit and you are able to use the pool between 10am and 4pm. Out of these hours the pool might be used by prior arrangement. We are generally flexible and accommodating. Other things to note We accept dogs 1 or 2 depending on size. There is an additional £25 fee per dog for cleaning. We ask guests to keep their dog on a lead, not leave them unattended at the property and to clean up hair after their dog in the cottage and not allow your dogs upstairs or on the furniture as some gets may be allergic. We have 1 cocker spaniel ourselves. We can also offer a collection service for guests arriving by train if possible. Pilates classes are also available to help you unwind.
