Park your car in the rear and stroll around Hobart’s city centre or it’s just an easy 15 minute walk to the Salamanca waterfront area, the ferry to MONA, Battery Point and major conference venues. Close to the CBD and waterfront area, great cafes, restaurants and shops are within easy walking. It's ideal for a couple or can easily accommodate up to 6 guests. Great as a cost effective option if you are in Hobart for a conference or for business ( the living/dining has plenty of space for meetings). There is designated off street parking included at the rear of the house. Enjoy a morning coffee on the pleasant patio or curl up with a book in the sunroom. The house has central heating and cooling, a heated towel rail in the bathroom and electric blankets on all beds ( when things get cooler). Kitchen is spacious and offers a dishwasher, microwave, full oven/stovetop and european style laundry. Basics e.g coffee, tea milk, some pantry staples included. Beds are wonderfully comfy and have high quality linens, doonas and pillows. Guest towels and amenities are provided. There are 3 bedrooms : bedroom 1 (upstairs)with a king bed, bedroom 2 ( ground floor ) with a queen bed and bedroom 3 ( upstairs)with 2 singles. A portable cot and high chair are provided and a stair gate can be fitted for guests with young children. The main bathroom is on the upper level next to the king and twin bedrooms however there is a toilet and wash basin on the ground level near the queen bedroom. Guest access You will have the whole cottage to yourself so you can come and go as you please. It has been redecorated to offer contemporary comfort. Close to the Hobart CBD, yet it is very quiet and private. Other things to note As two of the bedrooms and the main bathroom are upstairs, the cottage is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Whilst there is a front and rear patio, there is not a backyard/safe playing space for children Access to rear parking is via a narrow lane way that will fit large family vehicles but is not suited to motor homes. There is also on street metered parking. Please note that when registering your booking, children over 3 years of age should be included in the number of people staying.
