Blue Heron Cottage on Crooked Lake

Rest, relax and soak in the sun this summer at this lovely two-bedroom lakefront cottage. With a large deck, propane fire table and screened-in gazebo with patio lights right on Crooked Lake in Italy Cross, the cottage is just one hour and 15 minutes from Halifax and approx. 20 minutes from some of the finest beaches in NS. Spend your days lounging just steps away from the lake, throwing the ball for the dogs or BBQing with the peaceful hum of the country as your soundtrack. The space The cottage has an open concept kitchen and living room with a large deck that is perfect for BBQing. The kitchen, which was recently updated, includes a microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, Keurig, and kettle. There is also a workspace with a desk, chair, 32” monitor with a HDMI connection, a HD webcam and a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The cottage has a 5G Wi-Fi network and fast high speed internet connection. The large main bedroom features a king bed with plenty of space for luggage or a pack n play for the kids. The second bedroom has a queen bed and has a washer/dryer combo in the closet. The dog days of summer and brisk nights can put a damper on any vacation, luckily the cottage is equipped with a heat pump for your comfort. Outdoors on the deck there is a screened in gazebo with infra-red heater and patio lights for eating under the stars and there is a large propane fire table that is safe to use during any burn ban where wood fire pits are not allowed to be used. Guest access The cottage is a stand alone lake front property with 400 feet of waterfront, easy lake access and would be yours exclusively Other things to note A variety of life jackets are available for your safety when you explore the lake using the kayaks or stand-up paddle board. There is also a great selection of DVD's, indoor and outdoor games and books if you want a change of pace from Netflix and Prime Video.
