A gorgeous, dog-friendly townhouse in the heart of St Ives, Spindrift has recently been fully renovated to an exceptional standard by its owners. Arranged over three floors, this spacious house has a welcoming and inviting cool fusion of modern scandi and beach chic. Offering light and airy accommodation, perfect for a family or gathering for up to eight guests and located just a two minute stroll from St Ives’ shops, restaurants, bars and beaches. The space The ground floor is the heart of Spindrift with a charming cottage kitchen, fully equipped with top of the range appliances, including washer/dryer, underfloor heating, as well as a welcome area which leads outside to a crucial de-salt and sand area with hot/cold rain shower. This is perfect for washing down surfing addicts, big, small or furry, after a day at the beach. The area also provides wet suit drying space and board storage areas. The main, light living and dining space has many original features which have been sympathetically restored. With a newly installed, contemporary wood burner and Sonos system for those cosy nights in and chats on the sofa. Or gather with your friends and family at the large dining table with feature lighting you’re bound to feel at home here in luxurious surroundings. The first floor at Spindrift has a king sized master bedroom and a twin, each with local artwork and EMMA mattresses which continue the feel of luxury and comfort. The master bedroom has the added benefit of a desk/make up area as well as a high backed chair to relax in and watch the world pass by. The first floor is completed with a breath-taking bathroom with a modern deep free-standing bath to enjoy a soak in or dunk the kids and rain shower all styled in Georgian chic. Just off the first floor there’s a sun trap balcony for that essential morning coffee, sun-downer cocktail or just to relax with a book and have a well earned rest. The second floor has a further double styled by Cream Cornwall with sea glimpses and views across St Ives and a second twin bedroom. The second floor is finished with a newly fitted modern design separate wet room shower and WC making Spindrift the perfect choice for two families of four or a family with older kids who like their own space. With completely re-wired Wifi Spindrift has been designed to keep all your “streamers” online or just to keep you in touch if you need to check your emails or have to touch in with work. Should you require them we can arrange for a travel cot and/or high chair to be at the property ready for your arrival for an additional £10 per item. Other things to note Travel cots and high chairs are available upon request only. We ask for a £10 fee per item to hire them for the duration of a stay. The TVs are Smart TVs so apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, ITVX etc are available, you would just need to log into your accounts. Please note we do not have an aerial connection for FreeView channels. What we provide: Bed linen for all beds. Bath towels & hand towels for 8 guests. (We do not provide beach towels) Tea towels, oven cloth and a bath mat for each bathroom. 2x double length toilet rolls per bathroom. Hand soap, washing up liquid, anti bacterial spray, bleach. (Please note we do not provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel or other personal toiletries due to personal preference and/or allergies) Dish cloth, sponge, dishwasher tablets. (Please note we do not provide washing detergent/pods due to personal preference and/or allergies) Oil, salt, pepper, pint of milk, tea bags, coffee sticks and sugar sticks. As this is self catering accommodation, if/when provisions run out you would be expected to purchase any further items for your own stay. We provide 1 bag of logs, 1 bag of kindling and firelighters for the log burner between October - March. If you'd like to use the log burner outside of the Winter/Autumn time or need to buy additional bags of logs they can be bought at Norway Stores on Back Road West or Osbornes on Tregenna Place. Please note: The townhouse does not have a parking space and there is no free on street parking. We do however have a few off site parking spaces (15 minute walk away) which we can book out alongside a reservation at Spindrift for an additional fee.
