Hello, our house is in a mediterranean style, a kind of country side house, but with a cosy touch .The floor is rustic ceramic plastified to prevent any spot, like oil or coffee, etc. We are in a walking area which means no way to get with a car.You need to climb steps, then we do not recommend the place to people with difficulties to walk and climb steps. We recommed to bring light luggage, to reach the house you will need to reach El Mirador restaurant about 20 meters is the house. The space Little house , perfect for couples, 1 double bed, a.c. , Not smoking. !Historic part of Frigiliana, a moorish style village on Southern Spain. pedestrian area, very quiet.Singing birds and cats are included. On the street where the house is, in ancient times were living in complete harmony, jews,moorish and christians. Come and feel the hospitality of people from Southern Spain, away from crowds.Very near to the most important cities, like Sevilla, Granada and Córdoba. The last week of August we have the Three Festival Culture, it is a remembrance of the Christian, Muslim and Jew Culture in Frigiliana 600 years ago. The lowest temperature is during January and February, about 10 degrees during night time and about 15 degrees as maximum during the day.Anyway sometimes you can wear a T-shirt for lunch and a light sweater for dinner in a terrace!! You can come by bus from the airport 60 km away, or you can rent a car.. we think is the best and quick choice to come to Frigiliana.The time schedule bus Frigiliana-Nerja-Frigiliana is not very helpful, that the reason we recommend to rent a car.There are several shop in the village , supermarket, handcraft shop, tapa´s bar and restaurants with regional food , international or mediterranean fusion. We are in a walking street,there is NO way to get here with a car. You need to park downstairs and leave the car and walk till the house.About 200 meters from the parking area.We can recommend a taxi driver to bring you to the airport, or to pick you up from. Guest access Hair dryer,toilet paper,shampoo, shower gel,sheets,towels. Mineral water,tea bags, coffee, toaster, microwave,vitroceramic. Washing machine and TV. Other things to note If you come by GPS, please look for the pharmacy first, after you have arrived, use walking mode on GPS. We live up on the village and cars cannot get there. Look for Santo Cristo street, DON`T GO TO PARAJE SANTO CRISTO WILL LEED YOU OUT FROM THE VILLAGE :) To get the parking card you need to go to the only public parking in the village, La Cañada del Ingenio and go the level minus 4 ( -4) in a column close to the parking space 416 there is a key locker with the name ALGARABI you need to put number 1914 and open it like a book. There is the parking card, first get the card and after get into the parking area. There is 2 barriers you need to pass trough ( the second one said PROPIETARIOS )pass the card and go on. A very good Festival during the last weekend in August, from Thursday - Sunday, if you like concerts and live and dance music this is the time to visit Frigiliana, if you wanna be in peace we don't recommend to come on this dates.
