You will love the apartment! The space The apartment Allegra is located in a beautiful and historic building of Florence and preserves the details of the time. Most of the furnishings are original and typical Florentine historical. Perfectly located in the heart of Florence, Allegra is a quiet apartment in the historical Borgo Ognissanti; the apartment is a typical old Florentine house, with beautiful wooden beams and terracotta floor and some antique pieces of furniture; a double bed will welcome you with its comfortable and soft mattress (you will love it!) in a very romantic room with a mini balcony and a nice view on the ancient "Oratorio dei Vanchetoni" (1602). Air conditioning, TV and Wifi will help you to relax in moments of rest. I'll be pleased to offer you my apartment, its comfort and friendly hospitality; it is not a Hotel, we are not hospitality professionals and we don't want to be. We only want to share this beautiful city with you: my house is a private apartment in a XVIII Century's building, with local people living in other apartments around you. Piazza Santa Maria Novella 150 Meters The Italian police requires that every guest is registered when arrived in town, so, when we meet, we'll have to ask you to take a picture of your passport/ID or the details of it. Please note that the Apartment is SECOND FLOOR, NO ELEVATOR. If you arrive by train: The express trains from the main cities such as Venice, Bologna, Rome, Milan and Pisa arrive directly at the Santa Maria Novella train station, which is only 6 minutes walking from the apartment. If you arrive by car: we suggest a private garage which is located near the apartment, just one minute walk from our building: GARAGE INTERNATIONAL Via Palazzuolo 29. Cost is around €30 per 24 hours. The historic centre of Florence is a limited traffic zone area (ZTL area), therefore, special rules to enter or park in this area apply. The studio is located within the ZTL area so if you arrive by car we suggest to contact the Garage before. If you arrive by plane: The Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci, is located approximately 20 minutes by taxi or by bus from the city centre. The bus will drive you from there to the main train station and back. The cost of the taxi is approx €30.
